Supportive knee brace
Bought for partner who's knee appears to dislocate. He states it stops his knee from moving from side to side therefore stopping dislocation, is comfy and great when heated for pain relief, walks better with it on, supports knee, sturdy, quality material.

Excellent comfort and support
I recently damaged my knee fairly substantial, torn meniscus (with extrusion), grade 2 MCL sprain and grade 1 ACL. When I first did it I got the first suitable looking support I could which was a standard open patella wrap around Velcro jobby. Which to be fair did help with what was substantial pain. However as my knee started to improve and I wanted to walk more on it it was frankly very uncomfortable and at the same time was still letting me twist my knee which I needed to avoid. I got this based on looking into what support was recommended for torn meniscus and hinged seemed key. This looked to be the best value option given I already had a support and didn’t want to spend a fortune when I didn’t know if it would help. Reading the reviews that talked about it rubbing on bear skin I also invested in a very cheap pair of thick tights which I planned to cut up into a cheap and cheerful support liner. I’ve got to say I’ve been really really happy with this. It’s comfy to wear for long periods with my little sleeve on underneath to prevent any rubbing. Assuming I get it on well (best done with your leg mostly straight) it is really comfy for exercising too and has meant I can walk the dogs again without too much pain. I sometimes wear this over clothes eg jeans if it’s for a quick bit of exercise but do find that this can be uncomfortable due to seams and fabric rucking up in the joint. I should say I’ve got a decent amount of “natural padding “ so sure if this contributes to my comfort too. Typically I only wear this when I’m moving around a fair bit, preferring to walk around the house with no support on to try and keep some strength in my joint before I have the op to fix it. In bad days though where I’m getting a lot of pain I wear it for 12h plus and find that it does really help (though at that point it starts to get quite warm and isn’t as comfy). I plan to use it after my knee op as well assuming the doctor oks it and will report back on that too.

Good support.
For a partial tear in MCL. It’s good and should really be five stars. But somehow I managed to get a paper style cut from one of the edges near the middle of the hinge. I also wear an elastic strand under it as it caused a bit of irritation/pinching behind my knee when bending, which actually improved the performance. I am being a bit picky but I would buy again if needed.

Amazing support, Recommended
Fantastic item. Ive spent so much money on knee supports and none of them have come close to helping me with the pain but this support is amazing. I literally cant walk without some form of support on my knee and this one is the only one that has helped me to walk, its unbelievable, its the first time in a year ive been able to walk with less pain. My knee is almost bone on bone and its causes me agony, i cannot believe how good it is. Ive just bought another for my other knee which is getting bad too. I have put a stretchy bandage on underneath as the velcro can stick in your skin. Yes its bulky but i dont care as its finally helping with my pain. 💯 Recommend

It's a reasonable purchase, but does have some issues
Whilst the Knee Support Brace is good, it does have some issues. Firstly, in spite of the Doctors recommendation, it doesn't stop my knee from collapsing, even with the metal hinges in place (My total knee replacement op was over 2 years ago and my knee keeps collapsing!). Secondly, and even more irritating, when the knee is deliberately bent, the creases in the material scratches the skin behind my knee causing itching and pain. I have another Knee Support that does not have the metal hinges, but has a fabric liner that covers the back of the knee. So this Knee Support Brace would be far superior if it had the fabric liner for the back of the knee. We have solved this using a bandage but there's a lot of faff involved in getting it placed correctly.

Excellent support
Maybe it’s the copper inserts but these supports are very good .I was recommended this by my Phiso and it has certainly helped a lot ,easy to put on and not to bulky, they are a good fit and do help with pain relief. So I may never Tango again but I can walk much easier 🥸
