Xbox One S 500GB Console (Renewed)

The product that arrived was exactly as described. There are a few scratches on the bottom, but that is to be expected. Otherwise it looks and works like a brand new unit.

I recently purchased the Xbox console, excited to dive into the world of gaming. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm was short-lived. Upon opening the box, I was dismayed to find that the controller was broken right out of the packaging. Yes, you read that right - a brand-new, supposedly quality-checked controller was defective from the start. But that wasn't the only issue. The HDMI cable provided with the console was also malfunctioning, making it impossible to get a stable connection to my TV. To add insult to injury, the sync cable for the controller was the wrong type, rendering it useless. A broken controller, faulty HDMI cable, and incorrect sync cable are unacceptable quality control issues that have left a sour taste in my mouth. I would caution potential buyers to think twice before making a purchase. As for me, I'll be seeking a replacement or refund and hoping for a better experience in the future. *Pros:* None, unfortunately. *Cons:* Broken controller, malfunctioning HDMI cable, incorrect sync cable, poor quality control.

The item was as described, and shipping was pretty fast. Console was clean and was wrapped in bubble wrap and double boxed. Came with a 3rd party controller and wires. It took some time to setup from the factory reset. No issues with the console or controller. The controller that came with was a 3rd party controller which does work but you can feel the cheapness of it. The buttons are very clicky and occasionally it will miss an input. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the purchase. It's probably a good idea to invest in an actual Xbox controller. Since I am playing fighting games on mine, I will be looking at arcade sticks as well. The 500GB model can fill up pretty quickly when you are installing games so it will limit your library at times. Bonus: when I was checking the system, I pressed the eject button for the disc drive and it actually had a copy of Grand Theft Auto V in the drive!

Easy to set up and works great!

A few days in and the xbox works good. There’s minor cosmetic damage but, I mean, it’s refurbished. The controller they give however is garbage. The buttons work and that’s about it. I thought my new headset was broken because when I plugged it into the controller there was sound but, the mic didn’t work. Then, later that day there was no more sound. I tried a different controller and everything was fine. If you get the console just go ahead and order a new controller as well.

Let me start off by saying how excited I was to finally be getting an Xbox of my own.....just to be given junk. I have had a very frustrating experience so far. When received, I go to set up & find out they sent me the wrong power cord...ok things happen. I use my husband's for the time being just to see if the console is even working.....I was able to start the set up just fine using my phone(Xbox app) but wait get to the end of set up & the remote doesn't work. New batteries, nothing, charger cord, nothing...so can't continue anymore ...Well the controller sent was more like a generic brand replacement (not what is pictured) Whatever Xbox seems ok. I then purchased my own cord and controller since my replacement for those 2 items after contacting customer support is taking soooo long(2nd pic is what I sent them of the power cord I'm needing, 3rd & 4th pick is what was sent). I then find out that the picture will go on & off (in 1st video). I contact customer service asking for a replacement (not a refund) they're helpful and send me the label, went to ship out console and accessories today......got home...my replacement controller and power cord are here (finally). I open the package just to see another generic controller (black now) & another wrong power cord. Now I'm requesting a refund, this is absolutely unacceptable. I know it's refurbished but really??? My husband purchased his Xbox series S refurbished from a different seller and we have had it for a year now , NO issues whatsoever. Are employees even paying attention to what they are packaging. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!

Reading previous reviews, I was a little apprehensive. However, having owned all varieties of Xbox since the original launch, I figured I would be in a good technical position to review the quality of this additional purchase for my daughter's room. Overall, well packed, with some new cables and a mint condition wireless controller in there. Arrived in a non-branded box but well protected and suitable for wrapping as a birthday present. Setup was quite quick and had it up and running in a few minutes. A few minor wear and tear scratches on the casing, but nothing that bad. Certainly worth the price and backed up by Amazon 12mth warranty. We also looked on MusicMagpie for similar price, but that type only came with a wired controller. Would recommend and just remember to check everything out before you just assume everything is working and give as a gift, etc.

I expected it to be cleaned it was fairly dirty I would give the console 6.5 out of 10 the controller was worse than the xbox buttons stick and no rubber on the thumb sticks the hdmi cord was not a high speed cable and did not work thats ok i guess because I have one already for the price not a good deal at all

La consola Xbox One llegó con una estética buena de 9, pero el control no corresponde a la consola, era tan difícil verificar las partes que se envían. Lamentablemente no pude configurar la consola, por el control incompatible.

Absolutely amazing, come well packaged and shipped and delivered FAST. The contents are in amazing condition!! Highly recommend 👌
