As another reviewer mentioned the cable length is too long and doesn't work properly. In their case the cable at least partially worked. In my case it was completely unusable they were so long. This could have been resolved by having the proper length sheathing or shortening the cables. Maybe these are for a remastered or something and they fit that but there's zero mention of that. The plastic also feels extremely cheaply made, the cables do not slide freely within the sheathing, overall just a garbage product. You definitely should look elsewhere. ### ⭐ Poor quality, do not buy this kit *by J***N on November 2, 2024* The cables for the tilt adjust were too long and have no adjustment, resulting in the tilt function not having it's full range of adjustments.The geared lever was too tight. I had to open up the bearing surface with a drill bit to get it to move freely, and even still the mechanism has too much friction to actuate properly.I'm very mechanically inclined, I know I installed the parts correctly (despite not coming with instructions), so this really comes down to poor craftsmanship.If you're looking to add/replace tilt functionality on your classic Aeron, I'd suggest splurging for the genuine HM parts instead of buying these, since these probably won't work for you. This was a waste of 20 bucks and 1 hr of my time. ### ⭐ Tilt limiter cable too long *by I***O on January 11, 2025* While the tilt forward cable is the right length, the tilt limiter cable is an inch too long. The geared wheel for the tilt limiter side is not the right one. Impossible to use.
