Came home, opened the fridge and the odor was intense and putrid. Put multiple trays of baking soda in the fridge and freezer (yes the smell propagated into there and even invaded wrapped up butter). The baking soda was not working at all even after a few days of exposure. The solution: Found this product and got it next day. Unwrapped and popped into my fridge. One day later the smell had reduced substantially. Then moved it to the freezer for a day and the odor was gone. Then back to the fridge where it remains. The result: Worked great and quickly especially considering the really bad odor that could be smelled even outside of the fridge on the day of discovery. Compact enough design so it takes up little space and light enough that can be popped on top of a tupperware.
