**Q: Is this 60w per channel?**
A: Yes

**Q: Anybody else get an incredibly very loud crackling sound when turning this one? Curious whether mine is defective.**
A: Mine makes a popping sound when turned on.  It causes no harm as far as I can tell.

**Q: Does it include a remote? If not, can someone recomend one that has**
A: It does not have a remote, but I don't find that to be a problem, as I just leave the volume dial preset  and use the buttons my phone to control the volume.  Works great.

**Q: Can I connect 4 ceiling speakers to this?**
A: It depends on the impedance of your speakers that you are using. Speakers run anywhere from 2-16 ohm with 4 ohm and 8 ohm being most common. There are two ways to wire four speakers to a two channel amplifier: in series or in parallel. Which one to choose depends on both the speakers and the amplifier, specifically their impedance levels and limits. Wiring speakers in series raises the impedance delivered to the amplifier, while wiring them in parallel lowers it. Amplifiers have both a minimum and a maximum level of impedance and it is important to stay within these limits. You can research these wiring methods online, but you will need to know the impedance of your ceiling speakers and the minimum and maximum impedance level of your amp.
