The very last piece to my basement construction project was the lighting for the pool table. We had entertained a wide variety of options for this finishing touch, with a wide range of costs (from $150 to $1500). The Baiwaiz Wood Linear Chandelier was not on the list until the very end. We almost passed it over; how could such a simple and inexpensive piece cap off a $40,000 project, we wondered? Well it was perfect for us. It seems very well constructed, and the rustic appearance of it fits the rest of the stained and natural wood that we used throughout the basement project. Honestly, budget was the least of our concerns at this last phase of the project, but why spend more money on something less satisfying? While we are very happy with what we chose, there are two negatives to describe. First, the instructions were entirely unhelpful as we set out to construct the fixture from its parts. If you need clear narrative explanation of how this works, be aware that all you will get is a relatively vague (and hard to see) diagram. Second, the arms that connect the fixture to the ceiling are designed to allow you to adjust the distance from the ceiling. For our 10' ceiling, the arms at their very shortest setting put the center of the bulbs at eye level for a 6' tall individual. This is OK when you are actually making a shot, but uncomfortable when you are not shooting (which is, of course, most of the time). Options to address this would be to construct a cover for the bulbs, to mount the fixture to the ceiling directly, or to modify the arms so that it hangs higher up. If your ceiling is higher than 10' this would likely not be a significant issue. This was a great choice for us, and while it was indeed inexpensive, it does not seem cheap.

the Installation was a pain. The disk that comes to transfer the load from the mounting screws to the lamp do not align for a normal USA mounting standard. You have to really play with it to get it to align especially if the mounting screws to the rafter and the lamp alignment are in the same plane. So you have to play with it to get it straight. If your rafters run perpendicular to the lamp alignment the installation and alignment will be a piece of cake. Aside from that, we love it!

Looks good, hangs well above the pool table. A couple things tho...the screws on the ceiling bracket were not long enough to fit the base, so had to supply new screws for it to work correctly. And it is advertised as a pool table light, but the lights are bright at eye level as well as the table...so we had ours hooked to a dimmer switch, which was helpful. But now that it's installed and it works, we are very pleased.

I love the size of the light... it really makes a beautiful statement above our kitchen island. The cages are large, and look beautiful. We lost the canopy part of the light and the company was wonderful to work with to help me replace it. They responded immediately to my email. Shipping was fast and the product was protected. I truly recommend this company and light fixture!

I had an electrician friend put this in for me it is absolutely gorgeous he had to adjust it to work for a prior light fixture I had there but I love it it looks amazing!

Great looking light for my pool table. FYI you will need to put it on a dimmer switch or else it will be very bright.

Very cheaply made! The metal is very thin and does not hold together, it will bend very easily. Don’t waste the time on this, it is not made well!

Should have came with bulbs for the money.
