The big (yak) chew times two
I like these dog chews for two reasons...no rancid scent and it is all natural, no rubbish or bleached animal hide. The product is like a really compact yoghurt / cheese bar for dogs. No scent and doesn't splinter, just bits come off the more your dog chews n makes it warmer. When it gets a bit small and like a choking hazard, simply put chew in microwave for 1 min and it turns into a fluffy puff ball for you dog to crush up and eat. This is a pack of 2 x Large ones which are ideal for Medium breeds, our Springer loved em, but for Large breeds go XL. Well recommended if you want a chew that's full of all good stuff and lasts for about 4 hours. No stinky breath after, winner winner.

Definitely worth trying.
Have to say that one of my dogs (Rottie x Alsatian) demolished in about ten minutes. Thats not normally the case! My other dog chewed for about forty minutes and was done. Last time I bought these, I took them off the dogs after 10 mins or so and did the same every day and they lasted over a week. This time not sure what happened! Definitely worth a try if you can spare the cash for a treat. Oh, they do puff up in the microwave when they get too small for them to gnaw on. One dog liked it puffed, one dog turned his nose up!

Great buy
One of the best, if not the best for being long lasting that I have bought. Keeps my 11 month old golden going for hours. When it gets down to final inch/2 inch a quick 30 sec in microwave and it puffs up again to about twice the size and she enjoys it even longer. ( make sure you leave it for a good while after microwaving , (I leave about an hour) to cool as the inside can stay hot a long time.

Superior product
My dogs have had yak sticks before and have always finished them. They lie around for ages tho and they do lose interest with them quickly. There was a distinct behaviour difference when I gave them these ones. Right away they went nuts when I opened the packet and spent ages chewing on them without getting bored. Both dogs seem to be having a much more enjoyable chew experience:-). I’m defo going to buy from this manufacturer again. Pity they don’t do subscription would be my only suggestion.

My dog loved them, but they didn’t last long!
Great product and my dog was so happy, but she managed to eat half of one within half an hour! I had to take it off her and give her the other half the following day. I’m pleased she loved it but it’s too expensive to give as a regular treat. I’m sure most other dogs could make them last longer than mine did!

Second purchase certainly not as good as the first one
Our Staffy/English Bull Terrier cross puppy loved these and he took some time to get through them . Found these Everest chews - first pack lasted well and we had no issues. Second pack - different story. Few weeks ago, gave chew to him - he seemed to demolish it very quickly and within an hour he threw it back up and continued to bring up foamy bile for some time. Thought nothing of it and just asssumed he had a stomach off day Gave him second chew yesterday and after much excitement, he settled down to have a chomp. After 15 mins - he threw up again. Took away remainder of the chew and threw it in the bin. Doesn't usually suffer with stomach problems and we've not had this issue with other chews so would appear down to this product. Obviously no comeback to the company as very difficult to prove the effect on my dog but makes me think twice about purchasing this type of product on Amazon again. Sorry, pup, no more yak chews for you as too expensive :(

The Best
These are great value for money. Highly recommend if your dog suffers with occasional bad breath. This helps clean their teeth and keeps bad smells away.

Good quality yak bar
I’ve tried lots of Yak bars for my 6 month old Labrador puppy and this is the only thing that will keep her occupied for hours when she wants to chew. These are slightly cheaper than the leading brand but quality is just as good. I think the last a bit longer and haven’t cracked or broken when chewed or dropped unlike some we have tried. The only negative is the slightly smoky smell but the dog likes them so all is good.

My little 15kg German shepherd mix LOVES these. BUT she can eat a whole one in almost 2 days! They do not last, and for the price, these are a special treat only. Like a Christmas/birthday present for her! haha
