Works great! Fast and easy to use. Holds a good amount of ice. It does run a little loud but it’s solid for the price!

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM OR ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER. Ever since I bought this ice maker it has been problem after problem. Started making a weird noise that got worse with time. Now it’s not even making ice. I contacted the company several times because the item is still under the one year warranty and their response was that they could not do anything because the warranty was almost expired in two months please someone explain to me how is this logical? They are supposed to stand by their product for the full year they’re claiming regardless of when the claim is being made if it’s still under that specified period. I’ve been contacted Amazon and they said that because it has been so long they can’t really do anything and it had to be through the actual manufacturer. Now I’m stuck with a useless machine that I have to throw away and an almost 200 dollar loss. Great. DO NOT BUY

I started using this ice maker in the middle of Aug 2025. I have another icemaker I bought 2 years ago that is working great, even buying refurbished. This ecozy one I got is also refurbished (much more adorable) and is sooo much sleek and appears nicer overall. The ice basket and outside of the machine just look and feel more quality. The ice is great, made quickly, and I feel that the "nugget" shape is held better, instead of all the ice being little crushed misshapen cubes. It's heavier, but there is one big downfall. The ice machine's fan is making noticable noise- not always, but at the most intense, it almost sounds like a maraca, a constant shaking. It's definitely the fan, as when you turn it off you can hear it "wind down." It is alarming and the first couple of days it was just between a few seconds to a minute, but now it's going on for minutes. I found myself shutting the machine off just so I can listen to my music/podcast in the kitchen. That concerns me a bit, especially reading the reviews on the longevity of the machine. Although, I am still happy to test this one and send my old one with my husband to work. I'll be contacting the seller if there is anything to be done. If nothing can be done, I'll be updating the review and sending the noisy one to work with my husband. Edit: I contacted ecozy through email on their website. While they offered trouble shooting tips, none of them alleviated the issue. They said if nothing changes, to contact Amazon since I bought it through here. Amazon chat was very supportive and we came to a very reasonable solution. While I most likely will have my husband take this one to work because of the noise level, it still makes great ice! +1 star

I have been looking at purchasing one of these for years. Found one of these on sale during the latest Prime sale. I am so glad that I made the purchase. I love the amount of ice it produces. We had a small stockpile of ice on the first day. It produces ice quickly. We can empty the bin and it be full be the time we want to refill our cups. The size of the unit is good it does not take up too much space. Overall it was a great purchase and I am very happy with my purchase.

UPDATE! I wrote the original review and the seller was kind enough to send me a new one but now after only 6 months the new oe they sent has broken form the same issue. Not sure what to do here. These just do not last. Keep in mind we clean it weekly and have even used a descaler to ensure it would last longer...did not work. I am so disappointed. I loved this ice maker but after only 8 months, it started making strange noises and stopped working. I have yet to find an ice maker that lasts more than a year and I have tried 4 now. Why can't they make ones that last? And yes I regularly clean it and take really good care of it.

i was skeptical with some reviews but i got it at an excellent price and i am so glad i got it! its just me and i work from home it makes enuf for myself i do wish it had a little bigger basket. i do not notice the sound at all. what melts it reuses to continue to make ice. i am drinking more which helps me a ton cuz i get dehydrated very easily. it is the size of a bread machine fit on counter. i am looking to move it just because it does let off some warmth i think it would be better in a more open area if you have a small counter. i would def buy again but prob go for a bigger one. this one would not be sufficient for a family i dont think maybe a very small one. i have had this almost 1 mo and really like it so far
