I bought this because I wanted the flexibility to shift between 17mm threads and Moment's t-series lenses. I couldn't afford Beastgrip (and I'm not looking to attach a DoF adaptor or make big films), didn't like the lack of versatility of the Freewell cage and hadn't had great experiences with Smallrig. This looked good. The cage is solid. The trim is a little loose, but it just needs some care inserting and extracting the phone). I like that the mag-safe area is left clear for SSD drives or chargers; that's really useful now I shoot on Apple Log. The adaptor plates are great, and actually I leave the t-series plate attached to the back of my anamorphic lens. The filter adaptor is perhaps the most useful; I've had excellent results with a black mist filter and VND coupled together. The various threads for attachment to a standard tripod plate are helpful. I use it with a mini Neewer tripod, which also serves as a stabilising handle. Overall, if you're a hobbyist interested in upping your smartphone photography and videography, this is a really functional and solid piece of equipment. It ain't pretty, but it's so easy to switch your phone back to its regular case. Highly recommended.

The cage fits the phone well and everything seems of good quality. That being said if you push enough you can get the phone out of the cage without opening it, which makes me think it could be a little bit more snug. As I’m mainly planning to use the case so I can attached my phone on my main camera and us it as a monitor it shouldn’t be a problem. Even when using the cage to create a phone filming rig it other stuff will pop out or break before you phone does, but worth mentioning. The case has plenty of mount point, the filter mount is threaded which makes it more versatile than the Small rig version, I had a lot of back and forth reading before choosing which case was right for my use and I feel like I made the right choice

I received this video rig phone stabilizer kit for free through the Vine program, and overall, I’m pretty impressed with its quality and design. The cage is solid, rugged, and feels durable, providing great protection for my iPhone 16 Pro during filming or vlogging. One downside, though, is that for the price, I feel like at least one filter should be included. Knowing that the iPhone 16 Pro's body didn't change dimensions after the previous generation, I took a gamble when ordering this NEEWER Cage Rig, which paid off. I have been a fan of NEEWER as a manufacturer for a couple of years now, I have two full-size tripods and a travel tripod for my full-size camera, so when this phone rig came up for review, I jumped at the chance. It came in a branded box, with easy-to-follow instructions. Inserting the phone is straightforward, just unlock the latch, open the hinge end, slide the phone, and lock the rig back up again. You have full access to all the buttons. Then just click in and out to use the lens or filter mount. Lenses and filters are sold separately, as are handle grips, etc. The cage feels solid thanks to its metal frame, but this does add noticeable weight. I am now in the process of ordering a few of the attachments to make the most of the rig. At the time of review in late November 2024, it is listed at £50.90, which is pretty expensive if you plan on updating your iPhone, but for this level of quality, from a trusted brand, I think it is worth it.

Quality is more then expected. Very solid metal frame perfectly fir to my new Iphone 16 Pro also I bought true variable ND filter 67mm and its Handle separately . One better thing is it comes with T lenses adapter as well in future i will buy lenses and try it. For the frame and handle best quality.

Super solide, telephone tombe plusieurs fois dont une fois en moto aucun impact rien. Pour la video la cage est aussi pratique pour mettre des poignees sur les cotes + lumiere portables et filtre ND sur l'objectif au besoin. vaut largement son prix.
