Perfect Tool Set for Crafting Beautiful Round Beads
I recently purchased the Sculpey Tools Round Bead Maker 11-piece set for my polymer clay projects, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This tool set has made the process of creating perfectly round beads so much easier and more enjoyable. Firstly, the set includes 11 different sizes of bead makers, ranging from 6mm to 20mm. This variety allows me to create beads of different sizes and experiment with various designs. The sizes are clearly labeled, making it easy to select the right one for my project. The bead makers themselves are made of high-quality material that is sturdy and durable. They are designed with a smooth surface, which helps prevent any unwanted texture on the beads. I have used them extensively and have not experienced any issues with durability or performance. Using these bead makers is a breeze. I simply roll a piece of polymer clay into a ball, then press it into the desired bead maker size. With a little bit of gentle pressure and rolling, I am able to create perfectly round beads every time. The process is quick and efficient, saving me a lot of time compared to shaping beads by hand. What I appreciate most about this set is the consistent shape and size it allows me to achieve. The beads come out perfectly round, with no flat spots or irregularities. This gives my finished jewelry pieces a professional look and feel. The 11-piece set also comes with a storage case, which keeps all the bead makers organized and easily accessible. This is a great feature for keeping my workspace neat and tidy. Overall, I highly recommend the Sculpey Tools Round Bead Maker 11-piece set to anyone working with polymer clay and wanting to create beautiful round beads. The variety of sizes, the quality of the tools, and the ease of use make this set a fantastic investment for any jewelry maker or craft enthusiast.

Great! Measure correctly and easy to use
Amount of clay has to be exact to get the proper shape. Small molds are provided for measuring. I didn't eyeball it, I cut the excess off with a wire and the spheres came out perfect each time. Very easy to use, so long as you correctly measure the amount of clay used. Will get lots of use

The clay just doesn't come out right. I watched a video to make sure I was doing it right and I did my best but it really didn't come out like it was supposed to

This is amazing~ I learned yet again how simple tools can change your life.
I love everything about this product. Not only did I have it nailed in the first go round but I discovered a cool trick. If you overload the bead it comes out in a formation I can only relate to Rolly Polly's and Armadillos. After that I went clay crazy setting up different products and had a blast. Sculpey is a great company. I try hard to only buy American made items so I really don't want to know where they are made. I do but I don't! I have at least one of each item they sell. I accidentally ordered doubles on a few orders and I can't say I made myself mad. I really love this stuff. The clay is top of the line, every type is perfectly identified. If I have to say anything negative, it is that the effect clays tend to need softened. When I first got them, I only had Mineral Oil here so I tried that. I also did the leaching on white paper for those other colors that were too soft for my need, this is before ordering a ton of clay from everywhere. I always come back to Sculpey.

Not for making rose beads
I could not get it to work. I was trying to make real rose beads. The rose bead would not form. I read a review that said it would work on making a rose bead.

Simple product
This thing is so easy to use me and my daughter got this today as of this posting and within 10 minutes perfected rolling clay beads. My daughter's eight and I'm 41 if we can both do it anybody can and all the other people that are complaining oh it doesn't work then obviously it's operator error. And depending upon what clay you're using me and my daughter are using Crayola air dry clay works phenomenal no problems.

Super fun to use
I have made around 200 beads so I can confidently say that this tool is a lot easier than measuring and shaping by hand. This tool comes with a measuring spoon in three different sizes and corresponding bead shaper. This tool is really handy for making round beads. Once I get into the grove I can hardly stop making beads. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes to make jewelry with beads.

Works excellent. Just know how to use it!
I'm not sure what some of the other reviewers are talking about in terms of it not working. It works perectly, right out of the box. Just make sure your clay is fresh or conditioned. Nothing will fix dry clay if that's what you are using. 1. Measure in the little measure cups. Make sure to use a clay cutting blade to skim the top of the measure cup for any extra clay....the key is that it needs to measure just to top of cup. 2. Pull clay out and just form a ball in your hand. Pop it into the roller and roll it back and forth a few times. Check and roll a bit more if you need. If its not a perfect ball, its because you have TOO MUCH clay and didn't measure your clay properly, see #1 above. The tool does make a clacking noise...but it's a plastic tool, expect that. Tools will make some noise. But it works perfect. I posted some beads I made.

Leider eher enttäuschend. Die Perlen haben egal wie man es macht Furchen. Siet einfach doof aus.

Ideal for jewellery making

It comes with tiny measurement things that are the wrong size. Even if you put in the correct amount of clay into the rollers, it doesn't produce a round bead. Terrible product from sculpey.
