This product works flawlessly and is undoubtedly of high quality. The magnetic charger is a great feature, and I believe all rechargeable appliances should have one. However, the charging port contacts are exposed, which raises concerns about how it will withstand moisture over time. To date, I have only used the genuine Simple Human hand soap with it.

Haben die Seifenspender von simplehuman an allen Waschbecken im Einsatz. Anfangs war ich skeptisch, was den Preis rechtfertigt, immerhin gibt es deutlich günstigere Möglichkeiten von sensorgesteuerten Seifenspendern. Dennoch war ich neugierig und ja, es lohnt sich. Durch den Abstand von der Hand zum Auslass lässt sich die Menge sehr fein, je nach Bedarf, dosieren. Bei anderen Spendern kommt immer gleich viel (und das ist auch viel) heraus, was innerhalb eines Jahres deutlich mehr Seife kostet, als man braucht. Eignet sich übrigens auch hervorragend als Spülmittelspender.

Loved this product however I have somehow lost the charger and, after contacting Simple Human to purchase a replacement, they advised I can’t buy a replacement in Australia! This was the reply- “Unfortunately, we do not sell or ship replacement parts within Australia at this time. However, if you can provide a U.S. or Canadian shipping address (e.g., freight forwarder), we’d be happy to send the part free of charge (if available). If you can accept our offer, please include: A U.S./CA shipping address (no P.O. Boxes) A U.S./CA Phone Number Product Serial Number Alternatively, the only other way to obtain a new charging cable for your product in Australia would be to purchase an additional dispenser.” Obviously I won’t be buying another dispenser - extremely poor after service for what is an expensive, now useless, product.
