I think nowadays kids usually do not keep themselves busy for too long. With shorter attention spans, we felt that we needed to offer some more intellectual variety in terms of toys, and settled on this set. This is a pretty extensive magic tricks set - most of them classic ones where there is very little need for complex sleight of hand, and totally suitable for 7 year olds. Its all well packed into the box, and thus can be always taken out of the shelf to explore more tricks. I think it gives a good bang for the buck, and is a very fun to use selection for young and old.

This is a fun item for any child. The kit is really nice, I do recommend it for a older kid. My 10 year old niece had a lot of fun playing with this.

I bought this for my 9 y/o neice and she loves it, the only problem is that some of the tricks are made so cheap that they don't work or hide the illusion well. But there are some in there that are really good, it's worth it

I got this magic kit for my daughter, and she absolutely loves it. It comes with a ton of tricks, and she was able to perform a few within the first 10 minutes. The videos helped a lot — they’re simple and easy to follow. Most of the props feel sturdy for a kids’ set, and she hasn’t broken anything yet even though she’s been practicing nonstop. I also like that it encourages her to focus and practice instead of staring at a screen. If you’re looking for a fun, creative gift that keeps kids busy, this set is worth it.

My daughter loves magic tricks. Unfortunately she quickly lost interest because the cards don't actually instruct how to perform the tricks. Each one has a QR code for a video. My kids don't have phones and are too young to get online alone. Mind you, this is geared toward younger kids, my daughter would have loved it if there was an instruction book, which is possible with the cards supplied, without have to scan over and over to watch a video.
