Features double stitch construction, padded collar and heel, polypropylene midsole and one-piece binding. Size up for a comfort fit and size down for a more aggressive performance fit but keep in mind that climbing shoes are supposed to fit very tight and at a minimum your toes should be touching the end of the shoe. Your toes will be curled a bit if you buy a size down for a more performance fit. The shoes come pre downsized! We recommend for new climbers to go up a FULL size from their street shoe size. I would normally take a size 10.5 from the rental shoes and those shoes were tight and cramped my feet. These Climb-X shoes are a 9.5, they were the only ones available in a size close to my size. I bought them based on the price and I knew that I was buying a shoe that was smaller than I would normally wear. It is hard to get my foot in them but once my foot is in the shoe, even though it is very tight they are very comfortable. I can climb for over 90 min with no problems. I should say, that I have to go without socks to get my foot in. After the first 4 or 5 times, the shoes have stretched a little bit, and that makes them more comfortable.
