Lithium battery 9 Volt, E-Block, U9VL, U9VL-J

If like me you were fed up of the frequent ‘bleep’ from your fire alarm, then this is more than likely the battery you are going to need. Upon looking inside, this was the type required and whilst it can seem expensive for one battery, it boasts a good battery life and you won’t need to buy another for years to come.

I would have liked the batteries to have been sent in retail packaging as I find I trust them a bit more but the Chinese knock off such convincing packaging now that I don't suppose it makes much difference. I haven't really checked how long they actually last for but even if it is only for half of the 10 years touted, I am still pleased with the longevity.

Appears to be good battery . Bought for voltmeter tool . Works fine . Will buy again likely enough.

This is the perfect battery for ionised smoke alarms. It is better performing than 'ordinary' batteries. Recommended to help the alarm not to go off randomly, providing you keep your alarm clean and test it weekly.

Just taken one out of an alarm after 7 years
