This is a really good book if you wan o find out anything about Angels and where our knowledge of them began. I had been looking for a book like this for eons, only ever finding ones about contacting my guardin Angel or 'making my angel work for me.' which is not something I necessarily hold a strict belief in.The book explains what each type of angel is, using more than just the bible and Koran as information sources and that they aren't the cuddly, plump children displayed in pictures but actually fierce warriors of the Almighty (not the band of the 90's) that will smite as soon as look at you!It isn't a huge book so can be easily digested in a couple of days and written in a friendly, easy to read way that it can be picked up again and again.

This was a well reasoned description of our heavenly friends, well paced and set out in a logical chronological order. I did enjoy the appendix at the end.  It answered many queries I had about angels including their whereabouts in relation to biblical script. Unfortunately I did not really take to some of the illustrations, too modern I would have preferred some old paintings with a depiction of this subject still overall an enlightening book which I am sure will assist in a growing of faith thank you Jane.
