Legit. Great brain booster for kids.

I was looking for a fish oil for my 6-year-old to help with attention and focus in school. He has ADHD. I've only found two supplements on the market that he will actually take, this being one of them. The other is a liquid and requires more time for me in the morning. I have to pour and make sure he takes without spilling it (which happens a lot). So this one is super easy and he LOVES the taste. My son is picky so not easy to find supplement he'll take. I can't comment as much as the effectiveness of fish oil on ADHD. I still am uncertain. No, it's not a magic cure that is going to make your kids do better in school. But I do feel there is enough evidence that it can improve brain function. My five-star review is based on the quality of the product and great taste for kids.

Beware!,,, These are NOT chews. They are gel capsules. The taste is not good if you try to chew. The gummy chews do not appear to be available anymore, and I thought this was the replacement… Amazon is not allowing me to return the two unopened packages

I was a little surprised these weren’t actually your typical chews. My son didn’t like the liquid version of this brand so I checked to see if there was another option. I didn’t expect them to be a capsule. YES they are chewable, it just should be stated “chewable capsules” so there’s no confusion. My son DOES like them though! So you can assure that more kids than none, since most other reviews state the same of their children, WiLL like them enough to take. He was taking the liquid (same brand) before these but hadn’t in a couple weeks. Since he’s had an omega supplement relatively in his system already we started these with a dose of 4 instead of the recommended 6 (for first 12 weeks) and will begin the 2 dose regimen and see if we need to up the dose in a week or so. Guess it’s wise to take 6 like recommended if you or child have NOT had an omega supplement ever or in quite some time then wean off to the 2 dose suggestion. Make your own judgment to see what works. Bottle does state not to exceed recommended dose so if unsure it’s probably wise to consult an appropriate health consultant, though some suggest between 2 and 6 work for them.

Gosh, absolutely horrified by the taste. It’s initially just a bland strawberry flavor, but the chew leaves your mouth full of fishy oil. I will never bite another one! Since they cannot be returned, I will swallow whole as some reviewers have suggested. Hopefully the brain benefits are real. Definitely do not bite! Also - they should ship in a box instead of unpadded envelope; arrived crushed.

So our physician recommended this since it is the only supplement that made it in the medical journal. It took about a month for it to see a difference, and he has been on it for the last 5 months, and we have seen a difference. He likes the chewable but doesn't swallow the capsules (since he still has baby teeth, and missing teeth). He chews the liquid out and then spits the encasing. If your child can swallow, I recommend the forte. My 13y/o has been taking that one and we saw an even bigger difference in him. He is so much calmer and is doing better academically. I highly recommend these and would encourage you to talk to your physician.

I literally never thought that I would have a child that would have these issues, but here I am dealing with it, I ordered and immediately started giving to my 5 yr old, and within 3 days a miracle!!!!!!! I was so happy I cried, to see your child struggling with behavioral issues to point that she almost had to be put in a special class to now seeing her become so calm and more focused, even her teacher is happy!!!!! DO NOT STOP MAKING THIS PRODUCT!!!!! This is the easiest and best alternative for children who are overly hyper with behavior issues! I can’t thank you guys enough!

It is easy for my child with ASD to take this supplement because it's chewable and has nice strawberry flavour to it. He has been taking this for years and I believe it has helped with his cognition.

Small chewable

Have started giving this to my daughter as her diet doesn’t have enough omegas. I have done loads of research about the link between low Omega diet and concentration levels/brain health so decided to give these a go as they have a perfect ratio of DHA/EPA. They also have Evening Primrose Oil which is good for balancing hormones. The reviews wee all quite positive so I had nothing to lose really. I only bought the pack of 60 chews and realised after buying that they will only last 10 days as the initial dose is x6 daily! So we have now finished the first tub. Far too early to tell if they are making a difference but I have purchased a bigger tub to continue. The initial dose is x6 daily for three months and then x2 daily thereafter. Amazon was the cheapest place I found them so I will continue to reorder from here when this tub runs out. This particular brand seems to be well known and a lot of people have had success so I trust the reviews. The tub states they are ‘chews’ but my daughter said they were disgusting as the oil burst out of the capsule and tasted horrible. So she just swallows them whole now. She has never mentioned fishy burps or anything like that so they don’t smell. There is a strawberry scent when you open the tub but they definitely don’t taste of strawberries! If these do help my daughter then I think they are excellent value for money!

I am a HUGE advocate of these fish oils for children, the EPA and DHA balances are perfect. Everyone should take them. My psychiatrist pointed me in their direction and have taken them in massive amounts since and never had a manic depressive episode since and has totally balanced my hormones - amazing after years of conventional drugs. Our autistic son age 4.5 takes them and there is a marked improvement in concentration. Infact the whole family take them. Yes is it is expensive but what fish oil can do is very underrated, the health benefits are amazing. As a nutritionist I have looked into this greatly and for children these are easily the best, for male and female adults I would dose slightly different EPA and DHA but thats enough preaching! Dont expect results overnight you need high dose for 3 months and then a lesser maintenance daily dose. yes, they are expensive but you cannot put a price on health especially for your children.

Excellent value for money, each tub will last my son 3 months, and at half the usual price. Tub is sealed and dated October 2022 so bags of use by room. Equazen are excellent quality omega 3, they have higher concentrations of the two key ingredients you should look for (DHA& EPA). Cheaper brands have larger amounts of fish oil and less actual omega 3. My son who has ADHD takes these daily and the improvement in him is massive. His concentration levels are better and he’s more willing to engage both st home and school. I also take the family capsules and I have also found improvements in my concentration and in my general health. Don’t buy cheap, buy these.
