Programming instructions for Ellard remotes PLEASE READ THIS FULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING Using one hand, open receiver box by squeezing the two side tabs at the same, pull the cover away. Press switch SW6 once. Now quickly press the 'O' symbol on the remote once within three seconds. The remote is should now be programmed. Try the remote after five seconds. Purchase a new battery and replace maintaining the correct polarity. **Q: my control box is white and the remote fob is white, will this work** A: I don`t know for sure. The Ellard Athena seems to be similar, if not the same as very many `generic` code it-yourself fobs, with how to do-it instructions ? I n the end, because I could not replicate the code myself, I sent the keys back. It might be useful to you if I tell you how I resolved the issue in the end. I contacted the person who had installed the door in the first place, he provided a new key that outwardly; was exactly identical to the existent key and the Ellard Athena key, it took him two minutes to open the control box, press a button on a module and match the key code.
