I love this drive. I keep it almost permanently plugged in for TimeShift backups on my Linux desktop, and have a partition for personal files. (At one time I used it on my Windows PC as well) It's been great for nearly a year now, never any errors or issues. The design is nice, though I really wish it had a longer cord, because the tiny one is awful for long-term use. It is really portable when I need it to be. It connects with no issues, even when I took it to another computer. Of all the portable SSDs I've owned, this is my favorite.

This is my favorite go-to for SSD hard drives. I have a ton of these and they have never let me down. For me, they have worked every time. I'm a professional photographer and I use a new one every year for my business. Now that I've been using them for several years, I've backed them up, and will be wiping them clean and re-using them for following years. They are extremely fast, make zero noise, and require next to nothing instillation. Its size and sexy design is great. I love these little drives. I hope they start making them in 4TB.

Love this thing it hold all my photos, videos, notes. It still has plenty of space left! Easy to use as well. Great for storing custom content for games too.

Product arrived undamaged, in good condition and it works just fine

I recommend the Seagate One Touch for (synced) backups. Very straight-forward to connect and set-up, and together with the Sync Plus software this makes an excellent mirror backup. (The Seagate is twice the price of a SanDisk portable SSD, which I bought beforehand and that bricked after a month making it a totally false economy and the last thing you need for a backup.) Whereas the Seagate brings peace of mind and is well worth the money. The only product negative is the included cables: the USB-C type is too loose in my hub and at risk of just falling out, and both that and the A-type are around 12cm long. So I reused my former SanDisk A-type cable which is about 25cm long. The only delivery negative is that for the last 5km the default Philippines Ninja Van parcel delivery co handed over to a local subcontractor who has no concept of 'delivery' or 'service'; and to prevent it being return to the U.S. I had to go pick-up, which rather ruined the shipping experience. In the past Ninja Van were ok. But this time I shall write a letter of complaint to Ninja Van Philippines, and see if I can specify DHL in the future in my Amazon account, costly as they are.

I am loving this drive! It's way smaller than my last drive (previously I had a WD drive that was about the size of my full hand - this Seagate drive is about the size of my palm - even a little smaller) but it has twice the storage capacity! I also love that I can use this like a giant flash drive and just drag & drop files onto it without having to run backup software that takes an eternity. Granted, it still took an eternity to transfer nearly 1TB of data onto this new drive once I got it, but I just let it run overnight and it was done well before I woke up. I haven't activated the Toolkit software that lets you sync folders for backup purposes, but I don't know if I will or not. I kind of like just being able to drag and drop in the files that I know I want to save instead of having my computer hang onto backup versions of literally everything on my computer. All in all, this seems like a good drive. I'll probably be buying another Seagate drive in the future whenever this one gets full.

An exceptional drive which is very fast indeed and cool running. It was very straightforward formatting it and then using it as a backup for my M1 iMac using OS Monterey. My only, minor, criticism is the length of the cables that come with it - 9 inches - come on!

Very small footprint (smaller than a credit card & thin too) for a 1 TB SSD. After 2 weeks of usage with 65% disk utilization, typical backup of 70 GB (many small files from windows laptop) took 8 minutes @ average transfer speed of 148 MB/s. For large file, it can hit 300-350 MB/s. Connection is USB-C 3.2 Gen2. While far from theoretical best, its good enough for my usage at its price point.
