Essential item for vegan/ vegetarian food
Tofu,is an essential food item for our household.I always press it longer than recommended by Cauldron,the longer the pressing time,the firmer the texture.I use it for stir-frys,as a replacement for chicken and for paneer cheese.It absorbs spices and flavours very well, absolutely ideal for Indian food.

Love this tofu! Flavour is much better than the ones I found in Chinatown, (though firmer) and great for pan-frying. A bit too tough for soup, so I recommend to try soft ones for soup.

It's drenched in liquid and is too soft and brittle to easily be dried out with a cheese cloth. The Dragonfly tofu is leaps and bounds better than this. It just doesn't firm up and is more like a cross between firm and silken. It also seems to go off very quickly.
