Does the trick
Bought this item to transfer photos from my old olympus camera. Worked like a charm. Was so happy to have found a cable as my camera is very old and alot of parts are no longer sold. Life saver

Fine cable for Olympus cameras
I won't lie, I am really bad with certain cables, mostly those with non-standard connectors so having a spare lurking isn't a bad idea (or actually putting it in my camera bag so I can find it quickly). Arriving in a ziplock bag, it's exactly what it says it is - it's a cable for multiple Olympus cameras (OMD or certain Pen) for using for firmware updates among other things. It does exactly what it says it will do (the Olympus software found the cameras) and it's of a decent length as well, so from the functionality side, it works and that's it (it's a cable!). The ends of the cable are ok but I've seen better on some cables, however not this type of cable. It's a decent price for the cable as well, so no complaints there. Sure, having a braided cable would be nice but being honest, they don't make these like they do other cables and that's more of a nit pick than anything else. It works, it's cheap and that's ultimately all there is to it.

Good replacement cable
I needed this to replace the cable lost for my Olympus TG-2. Works perfectly and charges without issues and seems well built. Also works when connected to my PC and the camera shows up as a storage device. Good value for money replacement cable for an old camera!
