Final Boss Sour Fruit Candy, Variety Minipacks, Level 3, 3 Pack

As a self proclaimed sour freak, I'm always down to try something that can meet or exceed the sour levels of the heavy hitters like Warheads and Toxic Waste. That being said, I actually like these better than those aforementioned candies (and I'm already craving more). The ingredients are all natural and they use real fruit. That means it not only tastes better, but is also easier on your teeth compared to hard candy. As far as each flavor goes... Cranberries - Very sour but with a nice sweetness to balance it. Think Ocean Spray cranberries with a super sour coating. Blueberries - Easily the most sour flavor. They're like little sour bombs with no relief. Strawberries - These have some sweetness but have a higher ratio of sourness (like 25% sweet). The pieces are also bigger and chewy like gummy candy.

I purchased the final boss mini pack of three different level 3 flavors: cranberries, blueberries and strawberries (listed them in my preference). They were absolutely sour, which pleasantly surprised me as most American candies are not sour to me at all. I was also very happy to see that these are made with real fruit. I just wish they omitted adding the cane sugar. It just defeats the purpose. The fruit is already plenty naturally sweet. As soon as the sour exterior is gone, which lasts about 4-5 glorious seconds, the fruit has a sickly sweet taste and barely resembles the taste of real fruit because of the added sugar. I kinda put up with it because I like the exterior so much. Hopefully in the future they make a level 4 of fruits with the citric/malic acid exterior and zero added sugar...just fruit. If they paired the sour exterior with naturally sour dried cherries that would be my dream combo!

My son and I really liked these.. his mom acted like she just chewed up a ghost chili, but she is kind of a weenie when it comes to sour candy. The blueberries are definitely the most sour, the other two have a really fantastic flavor and have a definite sweetness to them.. kind of like a warhead if it were a fruit

I waited 2 months for this to come in. I went right for level 3 as I enjoy sour candy with a kick, major let down. My son (age 8) was excited to try these with me, mind you his taste buds have not gone numb from years of sour candy abuse, no reaction at all. His response was "dad this isn't sour". I'm really upset about the false advertising. I have no issue paying ridiculous amounts of money for products that deliver. The reality is this was the least sour sour candy I have every had. The product should be called mildly sour fruit snacks.

My sister-in-law is the queen of sour stuff. SUPER high tolerance. I have spent the last 15 years trying to find candies that are up to her standards. I have only succeeded once before. I bought these for her and she LOVES them. She said they are the most sour candy she has ever had. They are real fruit, so once you get through the sour coating, they are delicious! Highly recommend!

I love my sour candies. The more the sour the sweeter it is for me. Sorry though the fruit was delicious it was just not as sour as I hoped. I want my jaw to clamp shut from being too sour. Great candy but by no means “FINAL BOSS, level 3” is it epically sour. Warheads are more sour. So my search continues…..

A lot of money for something I tore into and consumed in less than 2 minutes. It was super sour. Not the sourest thing I’ve had but definitely up there. It did hurt my teeth but that is to be expected after eating something like this. Didn’t make me 💩 like some other really sour candies have had. 😂

None of these are even really that sour, and the dried blueberries taste like wood, cranberries are fine, kinda just taste like regular dried cranberries, the packages are also super small, the taste of the strawberry one is amazing tho, that’s the only reason it gets 2 stars, still, not worth it really at all
