is date stamped on product expiration by, or manufactured by? it arrived in june, ordered in may, date on was april (all same year). thanks.

Are you reading the date as an American or a European? Remember the European system is day/month/year vs USA which is month/day/year (still a weird convention)

what at the proportions in English. Not sure how much to use per cup.

On pkg it says: 2EL/250 ml. EL=Tbls. 250 ml= just over 1cup. So use approx 2 Tbls/cup. Add a little more if necessary to obtain desired texture/thickness.
