Women love trains too
My wife has wanted a train for under the Christmas tree for years and we found this metal train set at a great price. Easy assembly and it functions and looks great. After the tree is put away, she plans to build onto the train set and make it a permanent fixture and hobby.

Nice train set
A good set for the cost. Works very well. Only concern is one must closely monitor a child. The train and its connection to the coal car could be broken easily by a child rendering it useless.

Doesn’t look or feel like cheap plastic
Great train for the price. We have O gauge trains and this train is heavy and feels like the high end trains. My dad bought a piece of plywood, stained it, then nailed the track down. It’s easy to put away and bring out. Nice train.

Good Value. No remote control. Hard to place onto tracks for young children. Good quality .
Good value, trains are all metal and the steam feature works great and is a nice addition. The tracks are pretty easy to assemble for adults, but probably not for children under 7 or 8 as you have to put on small plastic clips to keep tracks from separating. You also have to be careful when putting the train on the tracks. If its not on perfectly, the train either wont run at all or wont run well. This can also be tricky for little ones. Also, its easy to knock the train off the tracks turning it on and off as it has not remote control. This can be frustrating for little ones (like my 4 yo). Basically, its a great train and can be used with smaller kids, they just need help.

Nice set! Great for older kids! Youngers kids (toddlers) may derail the train. Train can de rail with a slight touch.

Fantastic purchase so far. If you look up model trains, they cost a fortune. This is a beauty under the tree. The track is nice too. Heavy duty and very realistic. Love.it!!! .....so far

This train is sweet! My 3 year old son loves it. Only recommendation I have is don’t over fill the water reservoir, got some water onto the metal parts that drive the train and it was squeaking as it moved around track. Used some teflon oil, problem solved. Highly recommend!

Track is made of plastic but sturdy, train is good quality Unfortunately, returning thus product as the train will not stay on the track.
