Is this the same as the healing balm ointment? I been reccomend this Aquaphor stuff for my face damaged by me picking it ?

I used it to help heal dermatitis and cracked lips - it worked really well.

What the difference with the balm,ointment and cream?

It's all about the 'weight' of the product. The ointment is similar in consistency to petroleum jelly, the cream is the middle weight one and the balm is the lightest. I use the ointment at night, with cotton gloves on to stop it being smeared everywhere during the night, and the cream during the day (it's impossible to touch anything when you have the ointment on your hands, it's very greasy.
