Fastest mini pc I know of... benchmark on Monero backs that too. It stays cool and not loud, a little louder on boost mode. Everything seems to work except the network card dropping connections on my router, but just using a network adapter that plugs into USB (5-10 bucks and simple). Thinking of buying another. Update: Fixed the issue with dropping connections with right software configurations, so everything working very well.

A very good mini-PC for playing older games at 1080p, with max or high graphics settings. Upgraded mine with Samsung 9100 Gen 5 & Samsung 990 Pro Gen 4 M.2 SSDs, both 2 TB each (make sure to get M.2 SSDs *without* heatsinks, as this PC has its own internal heatsink with fan) & 96 GB of Mushkin DDR5-5200 SODIMM RAM, CL42. Added graphene-coated copper flat heatsinks to the RAM. These upgrades are the maximum limits. All can be purchased through Amazon, Pros: *Great price for a mini-PC. *Fairly easy to upgrade, if you're good at dismantling & reassembling desktops., that is. *Plenty of external I/O peripheral ports, but I still recommend an external powered dock to provide more ports. *Has a mode button on the front, to switch between power-conserving normal mode, and performance mode for HD games. Still, it's relatively quiet in performance mode. *The bottom-mounted power port & included magnetic stand are nice touches. *Much more compact than a standard desktop case & it stands vertically, so it doesn't take up much room on your desk. Cons: *The LED pattern on the right side can't be changed, but can be turned off in BIOS. Some people might not like the spiderweb aesthetic on the left side, which has some of the exhaust vents. *The AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT is considered a mid-range mobile video card, not very impressive. Minisforum should have used a 7900M, which is their best mobile GPU as of late 2023, to match their high-end 7945HX CPU. *Be warned, this PC has its limitations & is prone to overheat & shut down if you push the graphics settings in games too high! Also, poor performance at 4K. *Highly recommend an external USB 32-bit sound card, such as the Creative Labs G6 or X5.. All in all, a decent gaming Mini-PC, much cheaper & has more ports than Minisforum's more powerful G7 Ti.

Very good little PC. I use it as a gaming PC for my family room. Runs most things very well. A couple of crashes when pushing the limits, but so far I have been able to play everything I want either at 1080P or 1440p depending on the title. First unit I received had broken USB ports had to exchange. Second one I got has been working for months now.

Doesn't perform for the price. Included graphics is barely better than amds integrated graphics. It's an awesome premium smf pc 5 years ago. Today it's just a disappointment

Don’t buy this. After 35 days (5 days past the warranty) it shut off while I was gaming and it is completely dead. I’ve spent about 6 hours trying to trouble shoot it myself with no success. Hopefully I can find a way to have it repaired. Also, it does not perform quite as good as advertised. It can play basic games well but do not expect it to play any new or open world games well. Buy a regular pc!

This was an excellent machine while it was still working... which unfortunately was for less than eight weeks. Minisforum's tech support was responsive and helpful at first until it became clear that an RMA would be required, at which point they ghosted on me for a while. After the original version of this review went up they got back in touch and offered a replacement, which after a lengthy process is now here and working fine.

I received a unit with magnetic stand or PC box's magnets displaced ending up half of the stand attracting and the other pushing off. As a result the PC falling on a side with a slight touch. Support was slow and reacting over the night and during the night hours, seems that they operate in Europe or Asia. I managed to resolve the issue with the stand myself by disassembling the stand and changing magnets siding. It was not easy as magnet was glued and you can't detach it without minor damage to internal plastic ribs. At least support encouraged me trying, I had an argument for replacement if I'd damaged the stand during the process. Another thing which is bugging me is tearing down the PC for updating SSD and RAM. It's offered as barebone, however it's impossible to take off a side panel without special tools, no matter I try I was not able doing it with bare hands and a plastic card. Anything by hand would leave marks on the plastic panel, so I'm waiting for special tool to crack it open and add an SSD. Other than that, the PC seems a solid offer, especially when it was with a discount. BTW, my unit came with Windows 11 Pro, no vendor bloatware. I plan to refresh the review after a few weeks of using the PC under some pressure.

Pros: Has an option in BIOS to disable either of two SSDs. Very useful for hiding alternative OS loaders from windows installer Cons: Questionable access to the inner compartment for SSD and memory modules. Useless led entanglement, the only wea to use it is to switch it off. The led controller used allows much more light modes. 8gb on GPU will limit your resolution in games. Even smaller mini PC models with 780m has an option to extend graphic memory cost on Amazon 150% to the pride on the manufacturer website

An excellent mini PC, I use it for work in various contexts: sculpting miniatures with ZBrush (very good performance during Dynamesh operations), playing AAA games (very good performance), programming with Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code, etc. I can barely hear the fans when they start up—much quieter than my old MSI gaming laptop. No overheating issues so far.

The 5 stars are well worth it for Minisforum, they go above and beyond to satisfy the customer and to backup their quality products with their customer service. Regretfully there's no rating to display for Amazon. How is it possible that they sent me an open box product and without having more stock??? Minisforum had nothing to do with it and Amazon just passes on an open box product. The attention from Amazon was very corporate, not trying to give proper customer service and honestly just useless. Minisforum, on the other hand, apologized and even extended a coupon for all my troubles. Kudos to Minisforum. Just because of that, I bought another product from them and this time it was ina sealed box. I recommend this company and their products for their quality and customer service.
