Review: FLUFFY COOKED RICE EVERY TIME - This is my step up from a previous Aroma Rice Cooker. I was working with a Aroma four cup rice cooker that I bought in 2012. It lasted me until January 2022 when it no longer would heat up when plugged in. I’m for ten years I had no issues so I knew exactly what brand to look for when trying to find a replacement. I realized that there are A LOT more rice cookers on the market than I could have imagined. Technology has given these appliances a multitude of features…useless features. A rice cooker is exactly that a device that cooks rice. In spirit of finding something simple, basic, and user-friendly I stayed loyal to Aroma and went with their 20-cup rice cooker. First off, the price cannot be beat anywhere else - whether in store or online for this particular model. desertcart offered me the lowest price at the time. At first I was hesitant to go from a 4-cup to a 20-cup, but then I thought about handful of times (though maybe once or twice a year) some guests had to wait on rice to be cooked two or three additional times just enjoy my Chicken and Sausage Gumbo or my husband’s Crawfish Etouffee. Then I worried about the size and how space am I going to lose because of this bulky thing. Truth is, I store it in the exact same place as I did the 4-cup Aroma rice cooker as it does not take up much more space than the smaller one. That was a huge plus. The most rice I have cooked so far in the last five months of owning it is six cups and it cooked perfectly with plenty of room in there for more. I almost always use my rice cooker to cook jasmine rice, at least twice a week, and the Aroma rice cooker has given me fluffy, sticky (not to the pan) fully cooked rice every time. I love this pot , I cook salsas but have to stir it alot for a half an hour, I cook mango jelly in it to and oatmeal, not just rice it does it all really good and don’t burn, it’s so easy to clean and use , when this one wears out I will for Sure buy another one!! I give it five stars all day !!!!!

You need the Aroma Rice Cooker. Very simple and easy to use. Makes perfect rice using the ratio of equal parts water and rice. Aroma automatically shuts off when the rice is ready. The rice was perfect and ends your need to monitor cooking the rice on a stove top. A real time saver and rice is perfect. We made oatmeal which is delicious. We used a ratio of 2 parts water or milk to one part oatmeal. We added 1 teaspoon of vanilla and a handful of dried cranberry. Aroma cooked the oatmeal until it was ready and we added brown sugar and milk. The oatmeal was hot and bursting with taste of cranberry. Vanilla and brown sugar. Again, very easy with excellent oatmeal to start the day. Aroma is an inexpensive kitchen small appliance that adds real value and creates a gourmet quality rice or oatmeal. The pot cleans easily with warm water, soaking with no need to scrub. Highly recommend.
