As someone new to flying the DJI Avata 2, I picked these up to give me some added insurance while learning the ropes, and they’ve already proven their worth. Installation was easy, and once clipped on, they fit snugly without any rattling or shifting during flight. There’s no interference with the propellers, which was one of my concerns going in. I’ve had three minor crashes so far (outdoor and low-altitude misjudgments), and thanks to these guards, my drone is still in perfect shape. They do a great job protecting the propellers and gimbal area during bumps, and the bright orange color makes the drone easier to spot, especially when flying low or in cluttered areas. One thing to note: at higher altitudes, I noticed a bit of wind buffeting. Nothing too dramatic, but it’s there. These guards add some surface area, which can catch wind and affect stability a little in breezier conditions. That’s the tradeoff between durability and aerodynamics. Definitely recommend. I’ve already crashed my drone and this has protected it from the concrete and stayed in place. It’s lightweight and made of plastic. Easy to put on too.

I’ve had the orange BRDRC Avata 2 Bumper Guards on my drone for a couple weeks now, and I’m really happy with them. First off, they just look great. The orange is bright without being over-the-top, and it gives the drone a clean, sharp look that stands out in the best way—especially in the air. But looks aside, these guards do their job. They fit securely and don’t shift around mid-flight, and they’ve already saved my propellers a couple of times during tighter maneuvers. They’re lightweight enough that they don’t seem to affect flight performance, but solid enough to offer real protection. It’s rare that something so practical also adds to the overall aesthetic, but these really do. If you’re flying the Avata 2 and want something that looks good and works well, I’d definitely recommend these.

As others have written, they really enhance the look of the drone. I bought orange ones. The fit is good and tight, easy to install. A little hard removing but then it was about 25 degrees out and my hands were freezing. I have noticed the signal from the craft to the goggles on my Avata 2 is not as strong. But that could be from interference as each time I was flying somewhere I'd never flown before.

This is a great accessory. It once saved my drone from being destroyed during a bad maneuver/ crash, so it definitely proved its value. I highly recommend it for extra protection, especially if you're still learning or flying in tight spaces. Just keep in mind that any added weight will reduce your flight time a bit.

Slip on easily. I haven't crashed with it yet, so I cannot give a crash report. But the bumper guards seem to be good quality and slide on without much fuss. And the Avata 2 fits back into the bag still with the bumper guards on. I am happy with my purchase.

I just purchased these, and they look great, but the guards aren't cut correctly. One set of propellers are scraped up from hitting the guard. Most recently, I was making an orbit, and my drone flipped over and fell out of the sky, likely due to the guard, as I've never had that issue before. I don't recommend this product if you value the safety of your drone.
