Such a great camera that's clear and keeps it's charge. I have mine covering the back garden which is south facing so charging isn't an issue. You can if necessary charge it using a phone charger. Connection to your homes WiFi and mobile phone is dead easy as well. You don't need a monthly subscription just a micro SD card. Another plus is the ease of installation, literally a few minutes using a screwdriver. Excellent value and a great way of increasing security.

I bought two cameras, one for the front door to replace a Hive camera that's being phased out, and one for the back garden. They are really excellent, amazing value for the price, and the quality and features are actually better than the much more expensive Hive camera. Setup was pretty simple if you're used to pairing wifi devices, and there are lots of ways to optimise the field of view. The camera can be switched on and off via the app, and you can set it to deliver alerts just for people. I had to charge the first camera once in the winter when light levels were low, but probably my fault for not charging it fully before I installed it. Since charging, it's been at 99% all the time. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase, and would recommend it. Update 1 - I’ve now installed a second camera at the front door and it too is performing well. I particularly like the speed with which motion is notified to my phone, as the old Hive camera was very slow. My only (relatively minor) concern is that the cameras are very easy to remove from the bracket. Not sure how this could be fixed, especially as it’s actually quite helpful if I need to remove it for charging! But still five stars after 6 months use. Update 2 - both cameras still working well. One is not exposed to direct sunlight in winter and needs to be charged every couple of months. I bought a 3 m USB-C lead so that I can attach and charge the camera without having to take it off the mounting. Takes about 4 hours to charge, and the camera is operational throughout.

Got this camera for £21.63 on offer. Arrived on 16th and currently writing this on the 21st. I live in the UK so always cloudy and raining but surprisingly the camera has a charge of 98%. I installed the camera without charging it and it was on 60% so it’s definitely charging itself very nicely. 4 stars the camera is very good for the money and doesn’t require any cables you can place this anywhere you have a WiFi connection. I tested mine and around 20m was the cutoff point. My WiFi has split dual brand 5ghz and 2.4ghz although my camera would not connect so I had to use a TP link WiFi extender which is solely 2.4ghz and worked fine. No cable with this camera only a short type c cable to charge if needed to be. Image is clear and good quality for how cheap this camera is. Only bad thing is the recording length. If you choose not to pay for a subscription and use an sd card like I did your stuck with 10 second recordings which starts recording mid event. Example a car drove past the camera and it started recording when the car was already halfway across the camera. Would be nice to have 10 seconds of pre recording and 10 seconds of after so you can see everything. But for basically £20 you can’t complain.

Great piece of kit, easy to install, and they do work very well. I use the Wansview app to see the camera footage. I have used Micro SD cards rather than subscribe to the cloud. They do take time to set up properly, but the six cameras I do have are very reliable even on cloudy days the solar panel is still able to get enough light to power the battery up. Customer service at Aoqee is also extremely good and answer your questions very quickly. Definitely recommend this product, for its ease of use, installation and most of all price and convenience of an app to monitor the camera. Cameras too are very well made.

Firstly, I'd like to say that I was slightly hesitant about buying solar cameras, as I've not had any experience with them and was worried about having to constantly charge them. I'm a tech guy, so I must have spent a good few days reviewing different cameras to make sure I was making the right choice. I am happy to say that I should have bought these cameras sooner! I bought three cameras to set up around the exterior of my new home just for general security. Getting the placement was easy, mounting was easy, setting up the cameras in the app was easy and recording, viewing and everything else was easy! What I'm trying to say here is that the whole process, from start to finish was super easy! It's nice to have a decent level of changes that you can make to the settings of the cameras in the app to adjust things like recording length, sensitivity, and controlling the LED light on the camera. As for the solar part, even on a muggy day like today, the camera still charges, granted not as fast as if it were a sunny day, but that's to be expected. The charge rate so far in the winter, with the rare sunny day, has been enough to keep the battery charged. Image quality is great also, 2K resolution with the ability to zoom. Even in the dark, the image is clear, and there is no delay, being wireless, like with some cameras. The field of view is decent as well. I can cover my entire back garden with just one camera. At the price of these cameras, I'm not sure where you can find such bang for your buck! I'd also like to say that a few days after the purchase, customer services reached out to me, asking if I'd managed to install my cameras and if everything was working well. If not, they offered their support in helping me. This is really refreshing, to have that level of customer service to ensure everything is up and running. I will be buying more as I'm blown away with these cameras!

We now have 3 of these cameras outside, you can have upto 4. Very easy to set up, no wires, solar recharges really well, good pictures. Great value would definitely recommend.

Decent camera with okay video quality. Battery doesn't discharge too fast, and solar charging is not bad in indirect light, suspect I'll need to bring in to charge once or twice over winter. Connection isn't the best, this camera is mounted approx two metres from the router but does drop out on occasion. This will only record for 10s even with a SD card. Spotlight is bright, and night vision is great. Sensitivity is very high, rain triggers it all the time. Unsure if I have a faulty product but it makes a loud chime noise multiple times a day approx a dozen and I can't work out why, might have to return as it is getting annoying.

This looked like an ideal solution for placing a camera in a location where power is difficult to supply, as long as that location has a good view of the open sky. We have several cameras from the Wansview/Galayou/Cinnado/AOQEE family, and all are accessible via the Wansview Cloud app. We already have a couple of the R2 battery cameras at our holiday flat overseas, and they are powered by separate solar panels, and work flawlessly with quick and easy remote access from the UK via the app. This new S1 camera has the benefit of the solar panel being built in, at the expense of being a bit larger. Setup was very easy as we already use the app, and the camera worked fine. One thing, there is a small piece of tape on the front that you’d expect would pull off a protective film. Unfortunately the tape comes off easily and at first I thought the protective film was missing. Several days later I found that the film was still in place but virtually invisible. Now it’s off, the image is slightly better! In the UK this camera will need to be sited carefully to maximise solar charging. We initially installed ours on the garden fence close to some very tall trees and the battery gradually discharged as it was using more power than it was generating. On the open patio however, it charged and remained at or near 100% the whole time, at least in these summer months. Only time will tell if this camera will remain charged during a British winter. Build quality seems good, the charging and SD card slots are covered by a rubber bung and the rest of the camera seems well sealed. Again, only time will tell, but our Galayou (Wansview) R2 battery cameras, with separate solar panels, have been in operation for about a year out in the open on the roof terrace of our holiday home. In summary, a nice design, well built, decent quality and easy to use. Edit - condensation has formed on the inside of the lens, see photo.

Les notifications de détection sont réactives et la consultation à distance est fluide. La fabrication inspire confiance et les supports permettent un réglage précis de l’orientation après installation. Points forts : ✔ Installation rapide. ✔ Bonne qualité d’image de jour comme de nuit. ✔ Application simple et stable. ✔ Détection efficace et accès à distance pratique. À noter qu’une bonne couverture Wi-Fi et un positionnement soigné améliorent nettement les performances et limitent les fausses alertes. Pour un système de vidéosurveillance domestique, c’est un excellent rapport qualité/prix que je recommande sans hésiter.

La he comprado como cámara de seguridad durante las vacaciones y considero que lo que ofrece por su precio es inmejorable. La calidad de vídeo es decente, nose si 2k pero es bastante buena, incluso en el Night Visión. Te envía alertas en foto o Vídeo de 6s de forma GRATUITA. Sin enviarte publicidad cada dos por tres de que mejores el plan pagando, como hacen muchas otras. Luego si añades una SD puedes hacer grabaciones 24h. Al ser carga Solar, su conexión es al Wifi de casa y a correr. Su configuración es bastante sencilla, aunque hay que detenerse un rato a mirar donde se configura todo. Su Carga solar y el cómo mantiene la batería me ha sorprendido mucho para bien. Había leído comentarios de que no cargaba bien, que no aguantaba, pues la he probado en diferentes localizaciones, al sol directo, debajo de una pérgola de cristal y muro al lado, y en todo momento carga al 100%. Por lo que su carga y duración es excepcional. Tiene modo de tener 4 luces infrarrojas, para disuadir más y que se note que está grabando. Que se enciende el foco de luz ( bastante potente) o de hablar por medio del altavoz, incluso de hacer sonar una alarma. Su servicio postventa es cierto que es muy bueno, cualquier duda que les he enviado a las horas o al día siguiente ya he tenido respuesta rápida. Como única oportunidad detectada: es que su alcance del Wifi ( 2G) es limitada, si tienes el router algo lejos y te pilla paredes en medio o puertas, se limita bastante más. Yo la tengo a 8 metros aproximadamente, y tiene un muro interior y la fachada exterior y llega justo, Sin lugar a dudas, cogeré una cámara más, y la he recomendado a mis familiares.

Es muy buena camara, se carga solo con el Sol, se escucha muy bien el sonido, la imagen es muy buena, envía alertas de movimiento, tiene sirena y puedes hablar y prender la luz, excelente compra!

I was looking for a camera that I could use in locations away from the electric outlet, and that I wouldn't have to unhook and recharge every month or so. This is the perfect solution! It combines an excellent HD camera with motion detection and night vision with a built in solar panel that keeps it fully charged. Can be used anywhere you can get a wifi signal. The wifi is 2.4, which actually is preferable for me because 2.4 has better connections over a longer distance, and still has plenty of bandwidth for the video. The camera provides clear, sharp HD video that captures whatever you are looking to see. In my case, there are two uses for the camera. One is to keep an eye out for intruders. The other is to keep track of wildlife, especially coyotes. So far, the camera has given me great videos of coyotes (most prevalent), a bobcat who comes by every few days, raccoons, a skunk and several deer. Luckily, no human intruders yet, just our guests. Another good feature is that it has an SD card slot, allowing you to save all your videos on the camera and still have them sent to your phone. The camera has a storage plan that is inexpensive, too, so either way is a good option. Motion detection works well, and can be adjusted to your needs. There is night recording, or you can have a built in light turn on at night when motion is detected. I prefer infrared mode to light, because I want to see the critters, not scare them off. It might also alert an intruder, if we have one, that there is a camera watching them. Considering all the features and the quality of the product, this camera was a great value, and I have been very satisfied. Highly recommended.

For the price , you can't beat these cameras. Batteries charge up quick in the sun,and stay charged. Picture quality is pretty good,easy to set up,easy to use ,and it has many options to fine tune the surveillance. I have 2 set up, and are very happy with the purchase.May add a 3rd camera soon.
