I'll begin by admitting, I've never been an advid fan of GTA, I think I only watched someone play the first one, it looked kind of fun, but that was it. My cousin introduced me to GTA III, which I spent almost a whole day (yes, almost 20 hours playing it) for the first time, after that I decided to get a PS2 and got me GTA Vice City. The game is FUN! I don't understand how some people can give this game bad reviews, yes, it has some glitches sometimes, yes, some missions are a pain, and yes, ALL the stuff you have to do to complete the game 100% might be overwhelming at first. But, with all that, this is a game that will keep you occupied for quite a long time, I still play it even though I've done most of the stuff the game requires for the simple fact that it's a good time killer. Why is it so good? Well, you have a great handful of missions, two islands to explore, 100 hidden items to look for, 35 rampages to beat, some races, some RC toy races, insane stunts to complete, taxi missions, ambulance missions, cop missions and even delivering pizza, ha! Vehicles? There's a vast array of those, sports cars, old cars, buses, cop cars, ambulances, fire trucks, SUVs, jeeps, motocycles, 18-wheelers, vans, even the oh so amazing...HELICOPTERS! Weapons? Yes sir, brass knuckles, machetes, knives, cleavers, baseball bats, screw drivers, katanas, clubs, chainsaws, guns, machine guns, mini guns, flame throwers, rocket launchers, SNIPER RIFLES...I may have forgotten others, but seriously, do you need more? Go and get this game, I've seen the USED price and it's more than worth it if you want to come along the GTA bandwagon.

This game is incredible. There is so much attention to detail that its almost overwhelming. The lighting and sky plotting could use a little work but everything else is awe inspiring. This game is not cut out for everyone. I can see some psycotic middle age man blaming his shooting spree on this game in the future, when in all reality we should concider the source. This game has caught a lot of heat since its release but there are no grounds to stand on. This game is intented for the MATURE audience. No parent should buy this game without asking the clerck or, someone up to speed on the game, about the content. Second no one should be letting this game or any other game become an obsession. Lastly this game should not be blamed for any outrageous event that im sure it will be, because lets get real folk's, its a GAME. period. But if you are old enough to watch a blocky cartoon character fall over and a turnip sized drop of blood hit the ground without having a keniption-fit then i strongly recomend this game to you. If you are a gamer and are still wondering more about this game then you arent really a gamer are you?

The last GTA I played was GTA2, and I wasn't a big fan of it. I was between consoles when GTA3 was released, but seeing all the hub-bub, I decided to pick up the new GTA:VC. This game rocks. I graduated from high school in 1986, and this game pays a great homage to that time period. Driving insanely fast in a Lambourghini, doing drive-bys, all while listening to Judas Priest delivers an adrenaline rush like no other game. It's kitschy in the best way. The graphics are okay. I wish there were a bit more interactivity with the environment. I wish you didn't immediately drown whenever you end up in the water. I wish the fighting controls were more responsive (and less frustrating). But the city is huge, there are tons of things to do, and lots of places to explore. The driving controls are pretty great, too. Big lumbering vehicle sure feel large and lumbering. Plus, I wish I were better at it, because I'm anxious to unlock the second half of the city and do all the other exciting stuff I've been only reading about (fly copters, planes, boats, etc.) I've already lost way too much sleep playing this game. I like it more than SOCOM. I also wish there were a 1980's-style video arcade hidden in the city, where I could play old coin-ops.

i been wanting this game for years ever since it came. and everybody was convincing me not to buy the game. i finally played the and its no bad game. the character in the game walk normal instead the generic video game walk. i love this and the graphics are pretty good and 3dish and not as standard and a lot different from grand theft auto san andreas in which i been playing a lot. it reminds a lot of the scarface movie

No instruction booklet, but disc and fold out poster map were there and functioning. Picture was misleading.

An awesome Playstation 2 game! Grand Theft Auto Vice City became a smash hit. It follows a character Tommy Vercetti as he navigates the 1980's, gangs, drugs, criminals, and underworld to make his own way.. Hopefully to survive. This game is epic, you can just drive and listen to the 80's radio for hours, shoot up the place, do missions, buy properties, or rob a stranger. Don't forget fly planes, helicopters, boats, jet skis, etc. A fun game to play when you need to get stress or anger out on a bad day. It reminded me of Scarface/Miami Vice. My favorite Playstation 2 game that Sony came out with..

The product arrived in very good condition. It had its map, and manual as advertised. I recommend it.

DONT BUY WITH THE RISK OF THE DISC NOT WORKING. JUST DOWNLOAD IT FROM THE PS2 SITE ONTO YOUR PS3 OR PS4 FOR NO GLITCH GAMEPLAY :)
