The Beatles Yellow Submarine

This is a gorgeous graphic novel edition of the 1968 film; the style mirrors the film exactly and the colours are eye-poppingly bright. Story-wise it is follows the film exactly(give or take the odd line of dialogue here or there), just minus the musical numbers, which, admittedly, can feel a little strange but, on the flip-side, it does allow for new dialogue additions, including puns, wordplay and references which weren't in the original film. A beautiful item for the 50th anniversary and a must-have for Beatles/Yellow Submarine fans!

This is a beautifully illustrated book and a 'must buy' for any fan of the classic film.

Great illustrations and very colourful. This comic strip book captures the spirit of the Beatles film.

The book is lovely and well drawn but it could have had the words to the songs in the film in the appropriate place instead of missing them out all together.
