Excellent and comfortable shoes, these last for a long time even after wearing them all week at work so while they are a little expensive the soon pay for themselves as they are durable and long lasting, classic styling and a really good fit

I saw that particular pair on Amazon Resale for a steep bargain and decided to buy them as they were advertised as in mint condition. There are a couple of tiny marks on the outside but nothing that would warrant returning them. They are indeed brand new and I wouldn’t have guessed they were a returned item if I haven’t been made aware. Regarding to the quality of the shoes themselves I wasn’t sure what to expect as I have never had any Clarks. They are actually great - stout, proper thick leather, and comfortable to wear. I wore them on a day in town where I walk a lot and no blisters, they’re breaking in gently and are very comfortable. They go well with a pair of jeans or a chino for a casual smart look without too much hassle. Time will tell how well they’re made but they do inspire confidence.

The shoes look good, the outer leather not so shiny, but that's OK, I found the sole of the shoes a little too heavy and hard, however, I'm comparing it to formal leather shoes. Going up the stairs needs a little more effort, but maybe it's something I need to get used to over time. In general, the shoes are comfortable for wide feet, and I have been using it daily and its getting softer after a week, at first it was rubbing in places but not anymore. I gave it 4 stars for weight as it was a slight shock at first! Update: I still find these shoes heavy, I know for a fact that if I needed to run to catch a bus it won't be an easy run. The sole doesn't get softer, it's a rough thick sole, might be as strong as an off road tier. I can bet this sole will live far much longer than the upper part of the shoes.. I really can't get over the weight and inflexibility of it, to an extent that I decided to buy another pair of shoes so I don't have to wear these to work everyday. Update: Used old pair from December 2023 to October 2025, nearly daily to work. The inner sole starts off really snug and comfy, however, after a while, the leather itself loosens up significantly, and the inner sole gets flatter, I reckon it was time to replace it on December 2024, but I pushed it further by adding an after market inner sole, but the most that made me decide to buy new and throw it away was the actual sole, my pressure point while walking have become lower, the shoes were not flat anymore, making my feet lean to the side.. it is expected, it is rubber after all. The leather softens up quiet quickly, no discomfort or breaking required, it is comfortable from day one. Also its not a shiny leather, so it loses a lot of its rich colour over time, mind you, I never polished it! As you can see in the photos provided. Practical everyday shoes, not fancy, but still suitable for suits, and also can work with smart casual or even jeans. As you may notice in the last photo, ive purchased the same pair of shoes again, as I think its a good everyday shoes for: Security Officers, Office workers, possibly bus or taxi drivers, basically people who are busy moving and doing things all the time, but it takes a bit to get used to its weight.

Absolutely delighted with these shoes. Very comfortable and great fit. The colour and style are bang up to date The icing on the cake was the price. A real genuine bargain.
