Compact Bullet Ice Cube Maker, IMC-2

This is a great little machine for those with limited space. We use this on our boat and it couldn’t be easier to use. Takes up very little space and also very little energy. Our main ice maker died and couldn’t justify the cost of nearly $2K to replace it. This fills the gap and provides us more than enough ice. It’s not the quietest, but if it’s in another room, who cares? It’s quick for the first batch and then each subsequent batch is colder and thicker. We use distilled water in it and have only run the cleaning cycle once. I’d recommend this over others.

This machine makes great ice (it is not bullet ice!) The only complaint I have is that sometimes it shuts off and is tough to get started again with how you have to hold the button for a specific amount of seconds (but that could be user error too) The price is great for what you are getting.

It’s meets what I needed. Ez to use after reading the instructions. 😂. After that it does its job. Make a lot of ice, when you’re present to dump it into ur freezer right away, otherwise it will stop until you, after that it automatically make more Ice for you.

This worked great from July until mid November except the only way to turn it off was to unplug it. The power button never worked. In November, I added water, then plugged it in as I usually did. All it would do was to cycle between small, large, Ice full and add water, therefore, it wouldn't start.

Yea people say it is noisy, but only when it drops ice and pours new water in the shovel to make new ice. I can leave with it. I got this ice maker because my Frigidaire died after 14m of use. I was looking for well known brand with quality reputation. My problem with this ice maker is not a noise, is a design. When the ice maker is full and is slowly melting, one or two pieces are laying on the shovel preventing ice maker to make new ice. Ice bucket is nearly empty, but it will not produce more ice until these ice pieces on the shovel melt. As result you have just enough ice for one cup.

Pretty neat. Our fridge icemaker sucks. This was a great alternative!!!

Replaced a large ice maker with this one and find it very easy to use and keep clean. The larger one had to be taken completely apart to get all the mold out of the tubes and resevoir. No matter how many times I did the clean cycle it did not affect the mold throughout the entire machine. Little one is a champ and in one day I can make enough ice for 4 or 5 days. The reason for a 4 is that is said the ice was the good crunchy kind and it isn't but works well.
