Doing a good job
I only ordered this particular slug killer due to having been into the garden late and treading on a slug. I didn't have the opportunity to go to the shops so jumped onto Amazon for another quick online shopping fix. This just happened to be convenient and quick shipping so I settled for it. It's doing a good job and I've noticed a drastic drop in slugs mooching around late evening and into the night. I've used other similar brands but this one has certainly satisfied my needs. I'd buy it again in the future so long as the price is still competitive.

Effective but leaves a mold
They seemed to be quite effective in getting rid of my slug problem but I did notice that when they start to decompose they start to create a fuzz like orb around them, not sure what it is but my guesses are it's either mold or just the pellets deteriorating.

Work very well. No more nibbled strawberries and my dahlias are allowed to grow!
Excellent results with these pellets. We garden as naturally as possible so my partners initial reaction to my ordering these was extremely negative.....until he read the information on the pack and saw the fantastic results. Our vegetable boxes were being blitzed by snails and slugs, strawberries were munched and dahlias were eaten as they grew.....not now though! Even though fairly harmless I keep them away from my dogs and chickens. They`re also fairly rainproof too taking a while to dissolve and need re applying. I would definitely recommend and buy again next year :)

Extremely quick and effective
This is fantastic! I put out all my courgettes and lectures and overnight an army of massive slugs went to town on everything. Can’t tell you how angry I was, with some plants left hanging off their own stalks and slime trails everywhere. I bought this product and it is wonderful. In the last week (since purchase) I must have found 10 dead slugs (some the size of small dogs). To make it even better, if you leave them, they seem to dry out and shrivel up. Can’t recommend this product enough.

safe for birds, cats and dogs, but not slugs!
The dosing cap is great. It saves the wastage that you get from other manufacturers with the same ingredients. Our garden has loads of birds, cats, foxes, hedgehogs and they are all fine when the pellets are down. We know all the animals by name and even a few of the birds! That's how we know they are safe. The pellets act quickly so the slugs don't suffer either.

Slow delivery
No excuse for taking 5 whole days to travel from the Midlands to North London. That's ridiculous. It would have quicker from AUSTRALIA !!!!! I think it sat in a warehouse in Northampton for 3 days...... Get yourself a quicker delivery company. Product itself is probably OK - recommended by a friend - jury still out on product performance in my own garden,

Survives a downpour
This is a slug pellet that doesn't vanish after two days. I applied some a week ago and it is still working. So many disappear after two days since the formulation was changed. Unlike some other brands which have gone over to white pellets that the birds pick up. These are blue and the birds leave them alone. The fact these are fairly rain-resistant is another bonus.
