This does a great job taking all the smoke when cooking on the stove. Very easy to use and can be adjusted up/down for whatever size pan you're using. The only downside is that it's pretty loud, but the loud sound is for the powerful fan so it's worth it.

This portable range hood is a joke—its suction power is terrible! I bought it as a potential Christmas gift, but the quality was too embarrassing. I tried using a diffuser when I received it, so it wouldn’t get dirty or greasy. In the video, it clearly shows that it needs to be less than 2 inches away to work, which is not safe at all. Having a plastic object so close to a cooking stove or hot pot is a fire hazard. The suction power is weak, and the machine itself is unbalanced. The head is heavy and can easily be knocked off. Imagine trying to cook with a spatula, lids, tongs, etc., around—it will fall onto the grill or into the soup. Additionally, the cable is too short, making it impractical to use on a table or countertop.
