I was sent a O\ S in Grey. I have a small head , so it fit great and I can make it even more secure with the toggle cinch on the hat band for our extremely windy springs. Chin strap is functional and comfortable. It’s super light and airy due to vents. It’s also washable which is so important in a sun hat! Great value for the quality and So color choices. If you have a large head , I wouldn’t recommend though .

Bought this hat on sale for $20 and at that price it’s a pretty good deal. Paying full price for this feels like you’d be paying for the brand. It offers decent coverage all around and the mesh helps cool your head. However, it does feel a bit flimsy, but that also has to do with the hat being lightweight. If you can find this at a reduced price, it’s a great hat. It’s perfect for hikes or any outside activity. Be mindful to adjust the size as a strong gust of wind may knock it off your head!

The Columbia Bora Bora Booney was an absolute lifesaver on my Caribbean cruise! This hat kept me cool, comfortable, and protected from the blazing sun while I lounged on deck, explored tropical islands, and enjoyed the beautiful beaches. This hat was a life saver on my Grand Canyon rafting trip. I spent three days on the river rafting and the chin strap kept the hat firmly on my head through the Colorado River trying to drown me and the wind blasting me in the face. The shape was great with 360 shade and with the chinstrap up it you get a western look. I would have liked a couple buttons to pin the sides up. UT the strap was adequate. I stayed relatively cool for May in the Canyon with the breathability of the vents but the shade was key. It held up great to being splashed, wind gusts, sand blasting, sun and much more.. Overall it fit great and worked perfect for my trip.

The Columbia Bora Bora Booney hat is comfortable and keeps my head cooler than other hats I've tried. The one size fits all (has a drawstring to tighten the fit) fits my 23" head perfectly without needing to use the drawstring. The wide brim does exactly what it is supposed to do and keeps the hot sun off my head, face, ears and neck.
