I use gaming laptops and they are usually heavy and get very hot. I like to lie on the sofa with the laptop on my belly while I play, and I must have a stand so I don't burn myself! This stand is perfect. It is adjustable so I can make it comfortable to type and raise the screen to feel good. This is one of the very few metal ones I've found, and it's sturdy mesh to support even a heavy machine. The hinges and adjustable stand are all metal and I don't worry about it breaking. An addition plus to me is that the bottom is the same full metal mesh across the entire surface, so I can actually balance it on my belly or on my knees and it is sturdy. There is ample air flow to allow the fans to cool the machine as much as possible without worrying about touching it.

This is the third computer stand I tried and success at last! The other 2 were slippery and very precarious for my computer. It is very high quality construction, requires no assembly and is adjustable to 7 different heights. It is more expensive than the other ones but is worth every penny in my opinion.

I own a newer Alienware m18, and it is a large & heavy laptop that is primarily a Desktop replacement that I can take with me when I'm traveling for extended periods of time for work. I've struggled finding a solid stand for it as all my previous stands were for smaller 15.6" gaming laptops. Decided to give this stand a try, aiming for a larger & bulkier stand in the hopes it would accommodate my m18. It works great, the highest angle is perfect for my desk setup, and it's much more solid and sturdy with my larger laptop. The open grate design is great for airflow as well, but I'm sure it will collect dust over time and will need a little more attention when dusting & cleaning my desk. The cord organizer is a nice bonus, but ultimately not terribly useful except for peripherals...which are mostly wireless these days. It cannot accommodate larger diameter HDMI, Power, or Display Port cables. The only negative really is that the front lifts the laptop pretty far off the desk at any angle (about 1.5 inches)...and as such you really need an external keyboard or a VERY thick wrist pad if you plan on still using the laptop keyboard. Otherwise, this is a great stand for medium & large sized laptops.

This stand is amazing, the quality is incredible, and it's really heavy. I like to take it to bed with me to watch YouTube videos without worrying about overheating my laptop's fan, since it sits on a base with plenty of holes for ventilation. I recommend it for young people or adults who don't have any hand problems, because, as I said, the product is heavy, and I wouldn't want anyone to hurt their hands because of its weight. I really liked it a lot and would definitely buy it again.

I absolutely swear by this investment in keeping my computers from damage as both are gaming computers and I am not even a gamer! LOL! I purchase gaming computers as I do lots of videos for my business so I need excellent graphics and these computer run HOT! This works much better than the cooling pads from my perspective, but do what works best for you. I say that as I am NOT a gamer so I am using these laptops for videos which are probably not quite as intense a use or as hard on a computer as gaming might be! Personally these work very well for my purposes and at a reasonable cost!

With working from home due to covid I do not have the space or a good set up working from dining table. I'm over the moon purchasing this laptop stand, I tend to use a wireless keyboard and it sits neatly in front of stand, the laptop sits firmly and securely in it and it looks cool, it certainly feels cooler too due to the mesh. Is great value and I am very happy person thank you Amazon!

La prima impressione, estraendo il prodotto dall' imballaggio, non sembra evidenziare una gran qualità. Invece una volta inserito il fermacavi in gomma ed appoggiato il supporto sulla scrivania si inizia a percepirne la solidità e stabilità, soprattutto nella posizione più bassa, ossia con la grata appoggiata alla base di supporto. La conferma l'ho avuta appoggiandoci sopra il mio Dell 7520, che pesa 3 Kg abbondanti: non si muove neppure ad urtarlo. Inoltre, cosa da non sottovalutare, il metallo assorbe il calore dalla base del notebook, dissipandolo passivamente. Indubbiamente un buon prodotto!

This product is really well built unit, all metal construction, except the cord separator. If this item had cooling fans it would be perfect, short of cooling fans, it is perfect on it's own. It's strong, lightweight, and reinforced. The cushioned metal legs, that stop the laptop from sliding off are a perfect height. I bought this for a 16 inch Lenovo Legion gaming Computer, it fits perfect. Whether on a table or on your lap, it is strong and will not break. I bought this to replace a Klim cooling pad with 5 year warranty, because of a very weak plastic bottom only lasted 10 days before it broke! Quality cost money, a little on the expensive side, but a solid, well constructed metal cooling stand that will last years, not months, not days... Years! And if your handy, or know someone who is, could probable hook up a fan to provide, extra cooling.
