Casio KL-820 EZ-LABEL PRINTER

Good product

It has been around 4 months since I moved into a new apartment. As part of my kitchen reorganization project, I wanted a reasonably priced label printer primarily for labels for my food storage containers kept in fridge, freezer and pantry. I ordered a 9mm and 12mm tape for the purpose. I am happy with this purchase - a gift for parents day from my daughter. I prefer simple fonts to fancy fonts for easy reading. I am using the sans serif rnd font with a round box frame and it adds a simple elegance to all my steel and glass containers. At least now I can easily tell one masala from another. The printer is very simple to use. Only con is the usage of 6 AA alkaline batteries. If I can use AA rechargeable batteries (which I have in abundance of same power and brand), it will be very nice. Also it would be nice to get the genuine adapter online instead of generic ones which are hit or miss. Yes there's a wastage of tape on each side. But then this is there in almost all brands as per what I saw on YouTube to understand the working of the tape.

Excellent product. The prints are clear and does not fade with time. Wish it had more options for fonts and basic bluetooth connection to connect to a phone. It does waste some tape when you print single labels. So keep in mind to print multiple labels in one go. It can also print on heat shrink tubes for electronics, which is a big advantage.

Value for money. Easy to use and very useful for day to day life. I am finding useful at home too. Cartrigea are little bit expensive. Product is great

The printer is very useful, with multiple label types available. While some of the label tapes are expensive, you can use the Thermal types which are more pocket-friendly. There's a variety of print styles that can be used, and several symbols that make day-to-day labeling very easy. The only drawback is that you cannot connect it to your computer via USB (a more expensive model is available for that).

Printing tape supplied with machine is only blank film ribbon. White paper on which print is inner is missing. Needed to print labels and as I tried it has no tape. I had ordered an extra roll and will try again. But this is shocking that Casio has such poor quality control and they pack machines without checking components. I found it is much better to use Avery label paper and use general inkjet to print different labels. That is way more convenient jas thousands more options and labels can be printed in advance, in bulk and used as needed. I wonder if Casio is a realisable brand anymore? A couple of years ago I purchased a Casio wrist watch which had so many problems that I stopped using it after a week. Bought watch from Life style mall and they just tell you to go to Casio service centre. The upside of this label maker is that it’s portable. It works on 6 AA batteries. Again Casio did not provide an electric connection adapter with machine and it should be bought separately. So yes if you want a portable label maker with very limited options. You can buy it else it’s a big waste of money. And if you do buy it pls check that the tape That comes with pachane has white paper else return it.

It is difficult to operate

Good product to have at him to label all items very neatly and to keep things organised. I used it to label my smark home switches, working table wires, file cabinets and kitchen bottles.... feel good and more organised and gives better state of mind while accessing those places. No issues the printer and availability of tapes. I recommend it.

Itsynthetic's exactly the same as the one i bought from Popular. And it fits into the casio label printer perfectly.

.... läuft.... was soll ich über einen labeldrucker schreiben. aaaalso es ist ein tischgerät. die bedienungsanleitung ist so dick wie ein buch, ich bin 50 und brauche eine lesebrille. für diese bedienungsanleitung benötige ich zum lesen eine lupe,-das vorweg. ich habe das gefühl, ausser kaffee kochen, kann der casio alles. 24 schriftgrössen, verschiedene schreibstile, mit rand, mit strich unten/oben, schattiert, kursiev, fett, schmal, einfach alles. mit geliefert wird 1 weisses band mit schwarz druck. es gibt keine batterien dabei ( 6 x AA ) und auch das stromanschlusskabel muss man zusätzlich erwerben. ansonsten macht es das was es soll. es rettet uns vor unserem garstigen postboten, der kein verständnis dafür hat, dass der kleine nachbarsjunge einen heidenspass daran hat, die namensschilder abzu piddeln 🙈

The label is very easy to use and very versatile. The price is the lowest that I achieved. I am an electronics engineer and to sort and identify dressers etiquetadorea is practiced. I am very pleased with the purchase.
