Now, The only thing one should take care of while buying a stabilizer/regulator is that the cores used in these are better if made from copper, and more prone to failures if made from aluminium. The reason most of these are so cheap is that they may be using the latter. To users living in places with erratic power supplies, try to ensure the presence of copper cores in the units. For everyone else, this wont fail your normal needs. Also, it is beneficial that their service and support is quite decent, atleast in the capital city. Coming to performance, unlike conventional AC Stabilizers which takes a few minutes to turn output ON, VG400 turns green in less than 5 sec. So you can turn your AC ON quickly. I got this product for Rs 1680 after all discount offers, however when I enquired at nearby local seller he offered me the same item for Rs 1600 without bargaining. So you can imagine the actual selling price.
