Quality value for money product that also looks stylish , lightweight with clear controls. Bought my mother in law this for her birthday, as this is mains and battery operated she can carry it around and use it in whatever room she is in doing housework/ cooking etc. Easy to preset stations, great sound clarity/ quality with a sturdy handle for carrying .

Bought this for my sister-in-law for a big birthday. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality, it's a good rich sound. My sister-in-law was very happy with it. The radio picked up 127 stations in the middle of a big old house downstairs, surrounded by other houses, so reception seems to be pretty good. The screen is nice and easy to read. Being on the top is much more convenient when you are operating the controls. It's nice and compact and looks very stylish. My wife said it looks even better in the flesh than the pictures.

I bought this radio as a portable for the conservatory over the Summer. It has a lovely design and colour (duck-egg blue). And with DAB+, FM and Bluetooth, it provides a good range of sources for the money. I was under the misapprehension that it has a rechargeable battery inside, but it doesn't - the 15-hour battery playback is based on the use of 4 AA batteries. However, a mains plug is supplied. The radio is fairly easy to use with the help of the instruction-manual but like most modern devices with minimal controls, it isn't at all obvious or intuitive. All fairly good so far but the sound quality is another matter. The sound is pretty clear and not exactly tinny, but doesn't have much depth and is a bit harsh for my liking. And the radio has no way of of altering its tonal balance (a major design flow, in my opinion). I suppose it has a sound that is typical of a small radio, but I have similarly sized radios made by Le Mega that sound much better. So, unfortunately I don't think I can live with the sound quality of this radio and it may end up at the charity shop. It's a shame, as it is otherwise very good value for money. And a note about the Amazon delivery... I saw the van outside my house but nobody came to my door. This didn't surprise me as Amazon drivers seldom knock on the door these days and just leave the packages outside. I then got a message that the package had been left behind a wheelie bin... but it wasn't behind my bin or next-door's. I then got a photo of the package behind next-door's fence. I looked and the driver had obviously dropped it over their gate. Just not good enough Amazon!

Awesome Sound! This little Boom box packs a lovely clear sound with a nice balance of bass. BIG things do come in little packages and the Audio engineering department have done very nicely getting this unit to sound so rich. DAB, FM, Bluetooth all sound excellent and having portability only adds to the value along with being used as an alarm clock to wake up to your favourite tunes. Very nice finish and colour choices available. I chose baby blue and I’m very happy with my purchase. It also has a 3 year warranty included. Everything about this Radio unit has great design and although nothing to write home about even underneath has soft feet to stop scratches to your furniture. Runs from either supplied usb-c charger or 4x AA batteries. In theory I guess you should also be able to power this from a medium sized Phone power bank plugged into the Radio’s USB-C power socket. 🤔

What a fab little radio. It's called Little Shelford but there's nothing little about the sound that comes out of it, it's great a quality sounding compact radio. The buttons a easy enough to press and it's easy to tune in and to save preset stations. The booklet that comes with it is worth looking through though, the alarm was easy enough to set, as well as the Bluetooth paring, so in my opinion, the functions of this super little radio are easy enough to navigate, but like I said, worth a quick read of the booklet. It's not overly heavy, even with the batteries fitted, but still feels nice and sturdy. The power cable is a USB C with looks pretty strong. It also comes with a 3 year free warranty. I chose Black and it's got a nice gold ,almost rose gold look to it on top. Its a great looking radio, well worth the money, I'm extremely pleased with it and can recommend.

It's difficult knowing the sound quality of a product without actually ever seeing it in a shop. It takes some to gamble and review for you to really find out if it's worth your buck but I can honestly say I am thrilled with my Majority Little Shelford DAB radio. I genuinely love it and although it is not the BEST OF THE BEST quality (as those, such as Pure, are far more expensive) it does give off a very powerful sound with moderate-high base and a surprising volume for such a small device. AA battery life tends to drain quick so if off on a picnic, be sure to bring spares just in case. However, if you're in house or plugging it into the wall constantly, you cant go wrong for £40! With a Bluetooth built-in feature as well, its not only a radio but a Bluetooth speaker which is so valuable in this day and age so you can play your own tunes if you get a bit bored of the radio, orrrr if you want to have a little pre-party rave! Admittedly its no where near as powerful as your big bass speakers so don't be expecting that, but for a room or a kitchen it is perfect and with the on-the-go functionality I was even able to carry it in my bag whilst travelling and tune into local radio stations on the go which was great when travelling on public transport or walking as you dont get the minor luxury of a 'car radio' when some are trying to sleep! Overall, a very well designed, packaged and trusted product in my opinion. If you are still hesitant, I recommend watching a few YouTube videos to see how it compares to your expectation and potentially heading over to the Majority website like I did to see if it is what you're expecting. Highly recommend this little fella, especially with its sleek retro looks!

sehr gut: Design, Empfang, Lautstärke, Bedienbarkeit. Etwas enttäuschend: die Tonqualität bis 50% der Lautstärke. Ich hätte mir auch bei 25-50% der Lautstärke hörbare Höhen gewünscht. Aber die kommen erst ab 75% der Lautstärke, was aber für einen Campingplatz schon zu laut ist. Ein völlig normaler Breitbandlautsprecher eben. Aber zumindest bei Klängen aus der Reserve kann man ja den Equalizer der Quelle bemühen und das geht dann ganz gut. Es empfiehlt sich, geeignete Akkus und ein Ladegerät dazu zu kaufen. Der mech. Ausschalter ist nützlich, notwendig. und unbedingt zu benutzen.
