I've used many screen protectors in the past, and this is the first one that I have ever written a review for. Why? Because of all the screen protectors I have used, this one is by far the easiest to apply, leaves no bubbles, and the application guide included in the box actually works! The screen protector itself is good quality tempered glass, does not shatter or chip upon impact. I've dropped the phone with this screen protector several times, and despite that, the most damage this screen protector has suffered is a few faint spider web cracks on it. Yet, for the price, it is easy to replace the screen protector anyway. Fingerprint recognition is as good as original manufacturer screen, no issues picking up fingerprint and facial recognition, even in low light conditions. The screen itself is clear, with no distortions in the glass. Highly recommend - this is the screen protector to get. You won't regret the value for money and the ease of application!

Very sturdy and strong. The screen protector went on very easy. The only thing I didn't like about it was once I put the phone in the case it was extremely hard to remove it. But, I'd buy it again

I'm not normally a screen protector guy, but after shattering my pixel 7 pro, I decided to start using one on my pixel 9 pro. I bought and installed this one in November of 2024, and about 5 minutes ago (June 14 2025) it just completely saved my phone screen. I was just simply picking my phone up off the coffee table and it slipped out of my hand only inches above the table top, spun weirdly in the air, hit the corner of the table and then landed on the carpet below. I picked it up and saw cracks and a shattered ding on the edge. I removed it and found it was only the screen protector and not my phone screen. The phone screen is still absolutely pristine, scratch and crack free, and smooth. In 5 minutes time, using the included guide frame install tool, I easily reinstalled a new one (the second of the 3 this comes with). I used one of the 3 cleaning pads it came with and the dust wipe and it again installed flawlessly without a single spec of dust or air bubble. 🤌🏼 This protector is excellent. I normally carry this phone in my pocket all day at work and I'm constantly crawling under machines and conveyance and setting the phone down everywhere. Up until I dropped it 5 minutes ago, this screen protector didn't have a single scratch or flaw in the 6 months it's been installed. I did have the camera lens protector on for a while, but removed it because it's not necessary and actually gets dust under it and gets scratched up from the phone being set down because it sticks out beyond the case. Without it, the camera lens is recessed in my case and not vulnerable at all. I have a Spigen Tough Armor Pixel 9 Pro case, and the two of these together are an impervious combination. As an owner of the Pixel 7a, I understand the importance of keeping the display protected from scratches and damage. With that in mind, I recently purchased a set of screen protectors for my device. While I had high hopes for their performance, I must admit that my experience has been rather disappointing. Here's my honest review of the screen protectors for the Pixel 7a. First and foremost, the installation process of these screen protectors was relatively straightforward. The package included clear instructions and all the necessary tools to ensure a bubble-free application. I appreciated the precise cutouts that aligned perfectly with the device's screen, providing a seamless fit. However, my enthusiasm quickly waned when I noticed that the screen protectors were prone to scratches. Shockingly, within the first day of use, I noticed several hairline scratches on the protector's surface, despite being cautious with my device. This significantly impacted my confidence in the product's durability and protective capabilities. Furthermore, I found the screen protectors to have an adverse effect on the overall visual experience of my Pixel 7a. The quality of the display seemed slightly diminished, resulting in a slight decrease in screen clarity and brightness. While this may not be a dealbreaker for some, it was certainly disappointing for me, as I value the Pixel 7a's vibrant and sharp display. On the positive side, the screen protectors did manage to provide a decent level of resistance against fingerprints and smudges. They effectively minimized the accumulation of oils and dirt on the screen, allowing for easier cleaning and maintenance. In terms of touch sensitivity, I did not notice any significant issues. The screen protectors did not hinder the responsiveness or accuracy of the device's touch controls, which is essential for seamless interaction with the Pixel 7a. In summary, while these screen protectors for the Pixel 7a had a promising start with their easy installation and reasonable touch sensitivity, they fell short in terms of scratch resistance and impact on display quality. Their susceptibility to scratches, particularly on the first day of use, was a major drawback for me. If you prioritize a scratch-free display and uncompromised visual experience, I would recommend exploring alternative options for screen protection. Pros: 1. Easy installation process with precise cutouts. 2. Provides resistance against fingerprints and smudges. 3. Does not significantly affect touch sensitivity. Cons: 1. Prone to scratches, even with careful use. 2. Diminishes screen clarity and brightness. 3. Lack of long-term durability. In conclusion, while these screen protectors offer some benefits such as fingerprint resistance and ease of installation, their lack of scratch resistance and impact on display quality make them a less desirable choice. It is essential to carefully consider your priorities before investing in screen protectors for your Pixel 7a, and exploring other options might be worthwhile.

The screen protector is easy to install, and you get a few for the price, so if you screw it up the first time, you can have two more attempts. There were a couple of bubbles after the install, but I was able to get the air out using the edge of a credit card. Looking at the light, I do see some dust particles under the filter. This is because the filter installation uses older technology, requiring cleaning and a separate application step, which allows some dust (always swirling around) to settle on the screen as soon as you stop cleaning. The newer screen protectors use a pull method of installation, ensuring that dust has no chance of getting onto the cleaned screen, and utilize the back surface of the pull tab to clean the screen as the screen protector settles on top. It's a more effective method of application, and something I will definitely consider next time. So, one starts off with old-style application technique; although the guide makes application a lot easier and precise, it could still be improved. What I immediately felt was the degradation of the screen sensitivity and the thumb sensor. Yes, as the instructions noted, I increased the sensitivity in settings, but the thumb sensor is still not working as expected, taking longer to recognize and frequently failing to detect a thumb altogether. I also reprogrammed four new fingerprints after the screen installation, but it did not help. Another star off for this, but I am unsure if this is a general issue with the screen protector. Other than the fingerprint sensor, the actual screen sensitivity seems to be fine after making the settings adjustments. The screen protector works well with my Spiegel case, which effectively covers the edges of the screen protector, except for the top, where the case has a recess, allowing the edge of the screen protector to be visible. I have had the screen protector on for a few days now and have not noticed any issues with adhesion. Finally, the screen protector really is a magnet for fingerprints. Prior to using the screen protector, I noticed how relatively finger-prone and smudge-free the Pixel 10 Pro XL screen was. After installing the screen protector, I find that I am wiping the screen more often than before. Again, I have no experience with other screen protectors, so I am unsure if this is normal or not. Time will tell how well this lasts, and I will update this review with any additional information as it comes up. Overall, it's not that bad, but an improved installation method would make it much better.
