Check both pieces as soon as you receive them. Sometimes they don't work

I have them in my car to light up the glove box and the ash tray. They are perfect. Not too bright, not too dim. They are work horses and have not even flickered once in the past 9 months. Yes, the first time I ordered them, one of them wasn't working. I had to ask for a replacement. But that said, they are perfect!
