CLOROX® Pool&SPA™ Shock XTRABLUE®2

We've been purchasing Clorox XTRABLUE Plus for a couple of years now. It is a great chorine pack, but it includes other chemicals to keep your pool clean and clear. They claim it kills Bacteria & Algae in Swimming Pools, Swim-Ready in 15 Minutes. I don't know how effective it is for bacteria and algae. I do know it's quality chlorine. The only problem I've had with this is it contains cyanuric acid. Along with 3" chlorine tabs, which also contain CYA, it can boost the CYA levels in the pool which can lead to chemical imbalances.

Works fast for a clear, clean pool with very little down time. No heavy chemical smell unlike other similar options.

I’ve used this several times on my above-ground pool and it works well. It helps clear the water up quickly and is easy to use. Always keep a few bags on hand during pool season.

We love clorox pool and spa. It helps maintain our pool and keep it healthy and clear. Works wonders in our pool. With kiddos we love that its hard to open but also is swimable quickly. There is a strong odor when pouring it but it is a strong chemical. But works wonders!

This is the only product I use for shocking my pool. It works very quickly and it helps. Keep my pool very clear. I’m more than happy with this product.
