I've been using a these flashlights for a couple of years and I don't think I've ever had to replace the battery. It comes with one D battery inside, all you have to do is remove the plastic cover from one end of the battery and you're good to go. Plenty bright, lightweight, good solid switch that works very well and because it uses a LED bulb, the battery will literally last forever. I say lightweight, mostly because it only uses one D battery, I thought it needed a battery because it wasn't working when it arrived. Ran around the house to find a battery only to realize it had one inside the whole time. i just needed to remove the protection cover so the battery wouldn't discharge during handling.

My Dad lives in another state and they were experiencing a blackout. I sent him this great flashlight and it route next day. My Dad said it lights a small room so he’s very pleased. So am I!

It's not a sturdy aluminum body, but the plastic is sturdy enough for accidental drops. LED lamp so the battery life would be considerable using a D-cell battery. I like that it is a single D-cell light, not multiple batteries needed and D-cell batteries are much MUCH less likely to corrode over time like smaller AA and AAA batteries do all the time. Really great value for the money, I have 4 of these as backups for emergencies and it cost me barely 20 bucks.

If you have an elderly parent who likes the old style flashlight, this is perfect for them. It is one button on and one button off . No flashing. No strobe. No multiple clicks to get it on or off. It is the perfect size. Not to heavy. I am thinking about getting another one for me.

Ok for close up, but not long range.

It works like your typical flashlight and seems to have reasonable battery life. It lasted through a full weekend camping trip with full battery life. It was even dropped a few times and it still works well. It's not extremely bright and perfect for young kids.

No batteries were included in either flashlight.

What a great little torch, fabulous value as it includes batteries. Throws a good light over a practical area. Light weight, easy to use. I’ve just ordered 2 more.

Bought to put in a drawer until it’s needed. Seems to be ok quality and works like a flashlight

On and off button stopped working after a couple of weeks, very disappointing.

It's a flashlight, what else is there to say? I love that batteries were included.
