Do not order this if you are in the EU. They sent one with a US plug and a high powered converter won't work because it only converts the power and not speed of the power transfer. It will burn up the motor. Also nothing in the sellers description says it is a US plug, but it is interesting that some EU people have purchased it and it has worked for them. Maybe they got on with the right plug. I can't understand why they would send one to Portugal with a US plug.

this machine is absolutely fantastic! We use it every day and make two large Ziploc bags full of ice nuggets. If I had one design suggestion for the manufacture, it would be to add a very simple plastic divider so the ice could hit that plastic divider and go automatically off to the right or the left. The ice does tend to back up and we have to manually do that and I think just adding a simple plastic piece that would encourage the ice to go either to the right or the left might help the machine run more steadily without having to stop and shift the nuggets out of the centre channel. It’s a fantastic product, however, and I would highly recommend purchasing.
