Review: Amazing shampoo that leaves hair feeling wonderful. - I regularly have keratin treatment at my hairdresser and I need to use sulphate free shampoo in order to maintain this. Iโve tried various other shampoos but they all inevitably end up leaving my hair feeling lank and heavy. Having stumbled across this one I decided to try it. Initially when I received it I felt it was quite a small bottle for the price but I soon discovered that you donโt need a great deal to achieve a fabulous lather. The shampoo has a lovely smell which is hard to describe. Itโs like a mix of different essential oils, almost like sage and pine and fresh flowers. As I say, very hard to describe. The biggest mistake to make is to dispense too much. You donโt need a lot to get a great lather. Maybe about a 50 pence size amount in your palm if your hair is long (as mine is) Iโve read other reviews that mention that it wonโt lather unless you use a lot but what I realised is that you need to make sure your hair is VERY wet when shampooing. As long as itโs wet enough this shampoo lathers amazingly, much more so than any other sulphate free shampoo Iโve ever used (sulphate free shampoos tend not to lather well). As some people have also said, it does make your hair feel very strange after rinsing. The first time I used it I was quite alarmed as my hair felt like straw immediately after I rinsed it. This is due to it removing all the build up on your hair though and is normal. I also bought the conditioner and after conditioning and rinsing out, my hair felt smooth and silky. The biggest surprise though came when I dried my hair. It felt clean and was bouncy and full of life. Even my husband of 30 years commented on it and heโs not a man to notice things like that. Iโm an absolute convert to this shampoo and will not use anything else now. I now realise that most other shampoos contain so many chemicals that they end up coating your hair and stay on the hair after washing. I bought some for my sister who also has keratin treated hair and she loves it and has ordered some for herself now. Iโd definitely advise anyone looking to use a natural product to give this a try. Iโve never seen a shampoo with such a short ingredients list. Compared to a standard shampoo itโs quite a revelation. . Review: nice shampoo... - wanted to use a more natural shampoo minus the parabens and sulfates and this one is really nice - I know it's not necessary for clean hair but I do prefer shampoo to lather up so I feel that it has done it's job and this one does lather up nicely using only two pumps for my quite long hair. It does cost a fair bit more than your average 'off the shelf' shampoo but I wash my long hair every day and since using this for the past month, I still have more than half the bottle left, so a little does go a long way Smells nice and leaves my hair feeling clean and conditioned - other 'free of' shampoos I've used have left my hair feeling very rough and dry. Too early to tell if the added vitamins/minerals are doing anything particular for hair growth but the main draw for me is the absence of parabens and sulfates. The only minor negative for me is the 250ml bottle size - would prefer 500ml size or larger simply for convenience. recommended.

nice shampoo...

I would recommend it for sure
Feels good makes your hair feels very very dry during washing and after washing and the amount you need to use more than any other shampoo. When the hair is dry it goes into your normal condition but feels really soft silky shiny and smells nice.

Not for my highlighted hair
It's a nice product, definitely felt like a decent natural cleanser but it made my highlighted hair feel very dry and fragile. I won't be using it often. However I do think if my hair were in its natural state it would have been really nice. I have grown out ombre long pixie cut, so it was just the very blonde on the ends that felt so dry even with conditioner and macademia oil that I usually use.

Great product
This is a great product. I could see the difference in my hair after the first wash. My hair has really taken on a life of its own. I have a lot of hair (very thick, long and kinky-curly) and I like to use cocunut and other oils to keep it healthy, and admittedly I did find that I had to use a lot of the Biotin to get some nice suds in my hair. So I use a cheaper shampoo base (Neil's Yard has a good all-natural "build your own" shampoo base) to do a first wash, and then I do a subsequent wash with the Biotin shampoo which then suds quite nicely and does a great job. This is just a tip for people with very thick and long hair. It smells great, helps keep my scalp healthy and I do feel like my hair is growing faster, although that could be my imagination. I even feel like my hair has a richer colour. For those of you looking for a great natural shampoo, this is an excellent product.

Not satisfying
I always look for a natural products and this shampoo does sounds very much what I was looking for, however I end up very disappointed on my first use. My hair was so hard and stuck that I couldn't even put my fingers though. I normally would like to give a chance to use few times before I make a comment but there's no way I can use that again. I'm sorry but not happy at all.

Dry, sticky and lost more hair
I used this shampoo twice you have to pump alot out just so it foams up! When it came to rinsing my hair it was sooo harsh almost like a slight stickyness usualy my hair is soft under water with other shampoos iv used in the past but this shampoo felt sticky and soo dry even under water it felt as if my hands were sticking to my hair and the product wasnt washing off as much, whilst washing my hair it felt as though my hair isnt getting washed or cleaned properly and lastly what really freaked me out was soo much hairfall! Iv had a problem with loosing hair in the shower this shampoo made me loose more hair than usual i was soo freaked out! I dont think i will be using this anymore its such a shame as it says it has all the right ingredients but it just didnt work for my hair i have fine hair so this was too harsh so if you have thin fine hair i dont think it will be ideal for you also if you dont like the dry sticky feeling in your hair then stay away from this shampoo.

Minimises Frizz
Overall a great shampoo! Smells a bit earthy (probably due to the Rosemary) but it's not unpleasant, product works well at reducing frizz and makes my hair feel and look smooth and healthy. I love that it comes in a pump, it makes using it in the shower much easier. I tend to buy cheaper shampoos but I'm glad I tried this one as it works really well for my hair. I'd definitely recommend this shampoo if you're looking for one around this price point!
