Very well constructed and useful for specific applications like a MagSafe hub on a phone or in my case adapting a wireless microphone receiver system to a series of action cameras where the receiver can’t plug directly into the USB-C port.

I don’t review many cables but this one was actually really good. I ordered it to connect between my Viture Mobile Dock Pro and some of the Viture XR Pro glasses. The stock couture cable would drop the image occasionally because the speed was too slow when connected to the switch 2. This cable is capable of charging and running video cleanly on the Switch, Switch 2 and Steamdeck with the Viture glasses. I tested all three for a while and there were no dropouts, stutters or charging issues. This also solidly clicks in to the Viture usb ports which very few high speed usb cables I’ve tried do. You have to actually pull it to disconnect. The build quality feels solid. I wish it was maybe an inch longer, but overall I’m really happy with it and it solves a lot of issues I had. So if you’re looking for a high quality usb c video cable for the Viture Mobile Dock Pro to address connection issues this one finally solved that for me!

I am using this with apples USB-C AV adapter, and this cable is providing both power and video for at least a 3440x1440p monitor.

It works great with my phone case. I bought this to use a wireless microphone but the receiver would not work with my case. This solved the problem!

5 and 10gbps are NOT highspeed, not even close. The Thunderbolt 4 does 40gbps, and a Win. 11 bootable USB drive I have coming reads at 150gbps; pretty much the only cord or [?] that can carry more than the 40gbps are the RJ45 Cat.5/6/+ lines/cords - at least that's what I've figured out so far. To run the boot drive I'm installing a 9-pin USB port onto my motherboard so I can keep it inside and out of the way; what I'm unsure of just yet is if there'll be enough clearance inside to plug vertically, or if I'll need to secure it horizontally along a wall, if so then this will give me that room. If I don't need it here, it is still a great extra to have around, especially if one has a T4 in operation.

Does not work with Caldigit TS4 Dock. I wanted to use this as a way to protect the dock, but video does not come through with this connected, as opposed to the other wires

Plugged this into my computer, which proceeded to rapidly connect, disconnect, and reconnect several times until eventually the device no longer prompted any sort of connection alert sound. Buy at your own risk.

Excellent for use on external SSD harddrives.

The first photo shows on a Legend protector iPhone case the USB C flash drive can’t connect unless the case is removed which is pointless. The case is too thick. Then to the rescue comes this flexible connector which has a female USB C on one end and the other end, a male USB C which goes into the iPhone’s port. It’s slightly longer than what I would expect but then it’s flexible and it’s not loose with the flash drive connected, which is great. The transfer rate is excellent. ProRes video is activated on the phone, records and then exported into software for editing. Unexpectedly I did not realize that ProRes video doesn’t support action mode or cinematic mode. Action mode gives stability to the video’s recorded similar to a gimbal though it’s by digital software. Cinematic mode gives focus shift on subjects facing the camera from foreground to background. I’m still pleased with the results through the video editing software. This flexible connector has my thumbs up. Light, tight and does the job. Recommended.
