I usually use it at minimum brightness which is good for ambient or low-light situations - its not too bright to use as a bedside lamp in the middle of the night. - three colour settings, yellowish white LEDs, blueish white LEDs, or both sets on at once. Remembers what you selected so I always use it in yellowish mode. - Strong rubberised clip to attach to a music stand, the rubber grips firmly on a range of different widths. - Base is shaped and weighted so the lamp will also stand sable on a table. This is a genius bit of design. - Lamp head can be used closed or open. When used open, it is great for illuminating an open book or sheet music. A little rim shades the light so that people behind the music stand (the audience) don't see the LEDs. When the lamp head is closed, the rim protects in every direction, so you can use it as a reading lamp without the LEDs shining in your eyes. - the metal swan-neck is very strong and very easy to bend into shape and very good at holding the shape you put it in. - excellent price. After I received mine, I was so pleased I ordered a second straight away. Now months later I am still totally delighted with them - downside: the printed white "Vekkia" logo on the black base is visually intrusive but can be removed with fine sandpaper. The embossed treble clef logo is deeply moulded and can't be easily removed, but it is not so visually intrusive so I don't mind it so much.

I was looking for a good light for orchestral music, choral music and painting. Although the clip is quite heavy, it us very sturdy and has a good wide opening so it can clip onto an easel. It worked on a choir music folder and a standard music stand. The light variation is great, and the brightest setting is perfect. I haven't yet experimented with the different light qualities. Overall, I feel this was an excellent buy.

A good light. Comes with usb C so that is great when the cable goes one can replace it. The reason I give 4 stars is as follows. My last light only lasted 4/5 years and the cable broke after 2. If this light lasts I shall upgrade it to 5 stars. But as it is now it is a great little light. It can also be used as a desk light as it can rest on the clip without being clipped to something.

An excellent music stand light with a strong clip. The 5 levels of brightness, combined with the change in colour temperature make it very adaptable. The brightest setting is very bright!

The nights are drawing in, the harvest festivals are beginning, typically in the evening......you try playing 'We plough fields and scatter' by the light of a noddy fluorescent strip that some church warden kindly erected 30+ years ago! Flippin nightmare!! Anticipating the familiar eye-strain this year, I was searching for a floor standing reading light and I happened upon this little beauty. I never knew such things existed. I tried it out yesterday and I am very very impressed. Positives: - no wires and so no need to find an electrical socket nearby - versatile; the photo doesn't do it justice but the music stand on the organ doesn't allow anything to be clamped to the top, this light was easily positioned further down the stand - effective; the light it provides is really bright without being blinding and I can easily read all the score - robust and secure; the clip is rubberised and very stable, there is nothing flimsy about it - portable; I wondered whether the ability to 'fold' the light might compromise the beam but this is not the case at all. I was able to carry the light easily and safely to the church and then pop it in my bag to take home again - no 'leakage'; the light is exactly where you need it and does not blind you or the congregation - very quick to charge for first use Negatives: These are not negatives as such but some things you might want to think about if you are considering it for a similar use. - the clip sticks out at an angle which it needs to do in order to fulfil its purpose, but if your music stand only has a narrow ledge then the clip could conceivably push out your music book to make it a bit unstable - length of the lighted area; I only realised once I had opened the package what 42led means (I know, didn't do my research!) - it means there are a total of 42 leds bulbs ergo the beam is only as long as 42 bulbs allow. This probably doesn't make any sense - it is totally fine for my purposes but if you are reading from e.g. 4 A4 sheets taped together, then it might not be quite big enough for your needs. Maybe do what I didn't do and read the product specification. I very rarely leave reviews, and then only when I feel sufficiently fired up or I think that someone else might come across my review and find it genuinely helpful. I will re-review this in a couple of months to see if time has deteriorated the product. In the meantime, 5 stars from me! Update 14.10.24 I had drawn the wrong conclusion about the number of leds being related to the length/width of the light beam. Here is my conversation with the seller in case anyone else find it useful. My original question to the seller: How does the 42Led version compare to the 64Led version in terms of size? As it has 64Leds I was expecting the light fins to be wider but, according to the product information, both the 64Led version and the 42Led version appear to have the same dimensions. Their reply: The 64LED and 42LED head spread lengths are the same. The main difference is the lamp holder battery capacity and lumens. 42LED: Battery capacity is 2500 mAh Lumens: 13.1 lumens - 182.17 lumens Colour temperature: Uniform 4019K Brightness duration: about 67 hours for the lowest brightness, about 5 hours for the highest brightness. 64LED: Battery capacity is 4000 mAh Lumen: mixed light 15.7-224.2 lumens, positive white light 18.1-255.4 lumens, warm light 16.8-239.4 lumens Colour temperature: mixed light 4000K, positive white light 5700K, warm light 3000K Light duration: minimum brightness of about 100 hours, maximum brightness of about 6.5 hours

This lamp is absolutely fabulous. I play in an orchestra and we had our Christmas concert last night. 3 1/2 hours rehearsal and 1 1/2 hours concert and the lamp was always on. I even ordered a second one for my colleague in the section. The brightness is fantastic. Another colleague saw it and is going to order one as well. It is one of the occasions that I wished there were six stars to give!

An excellent and well-designed music light with a flexible gooseneck and two-part adjustable fold-out light that can be used plugged in, or charged-up and untethered for on-the-go use for up to 60 hours. It can stand on its own or be clipped to a music stand, and the five brightness levels, along with three light colour options including an easy-on-the eyes 'warm' setting, should cover any situation. I was looking at more basic models, but glad I stepped up (just a bit) to this one. Excellent value for the price, and it looks well-made so it should last. Very happy!

Useful light

This is better than my previous lights. It clips onto the music stand more firmly. It packs away neatly and has many adjustments for brightness and colour
