HP 480 Comfort Wired Keyboard, USB-A connectivity, 23 programmable Keys, Microsoft Copilot, Cushioned Palm Rest, Adjustable tilt, Spill Resistant, 1-Year Limited Warranty, Black, 8T6M1AA

I am giving the HP 970 Creator Keyboard a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars. As a user who relies on a keyboard for coding and professional work (not gaming), this is one of the best low-profile, multi-device keyboards on the market—and I got it at an unbeatable price!Incredible Value and PricingI was fortunate to grab this premium keyboard for only ₹4,599. Factoring in the additional 5% cashback I received through my credit card, the effective price was exceptionally low for a device with this feature set. For the quality and versatility it offers, the value is outstanding.Premium Feel and DesignThe build quality of the 970 is absolutely top-notch. It features a solid, metallic construction that gives it a premium weight and feel, ensuring it stays firmly planted on the desk during long typing sessions. The silver finish is sleek and modern, perfectly matching a high-end desktop or laptop setup.Seamless Productivity and ConnectivityThis keyboard shines in a multi-device workflow:Multi-Device Excellence: The ability to connect to 3 devices at once (via 2.4 GHz dongle and two Bluetooth channels) and switch between them seamlessly is a massive productivity boost.Charging: The convenience of Type-C charging means one cable for all my devices. Coupled with the claimed long battery life, this makes it an ideal wireless workhorse.Programmable Keys: The 20+ programmable shortcut keys are perfect for coding and developer tasks, allowing me to set up macros or open specific programs with a single keypress.Smart Features That Just WorkSmart Backlighting: The integrated backlit sensors work beautifully. They automatically adjust brightness based on ambient light and even turn on when your hands approach the keyboard, conserving battery without ever leaving you in the dark.Security: Knowing my keystrokes are protected by AES encryption is a crucial, high-end feature that professional users demand.Final Verdict: An Essential Tool for Creators (But Not Gamers)I have no drawbacks to report for my professional use case.A note to gamers: This is a low-profile, chiclet-style keyboard (scissor switch), designed for quiet, comfortable, and precise typing—I would not suggest this for competitive gamers who typically require high-travel mechanical switches. For creators, coders, and office professionals who value premium design, silent operation, and high-level customization and security, the HP 970 is an essential upgrade that delivers on all fronts.

The HP 970 Creator Keyboard is a fantastic choice! It's wireless, connects to multiple devices, and boasts 20 customizable shortcut keys for seamless work. With backlit keys and sensors for low-light conditions, it suits any setup. The long-lasting battery for up to 6 months, AES encryption for security, and a 3-year warranty make it a reliable and trustworthy companion. In an elegant silver design, it's a must-have for creative workspaces!

Has all required functions to make your experience easier and can be programmed for professional use cases.UPDATE - After a few Windows update and HP updates (directly from Windows update setting page), happy to report that the Keyboard is now detected in the HP Accessory Center.Original Review:The keyboard is awesome and works out of the box, the only thing I feel is missing and no review mention here (but if you google, you'll find numerous posts about this) is that the HP Accessory Center, the app you are going to use to use to program keys, update firmware doesn't even recognise the keyboard!!!Unfortunately, it used to work on Windows 10 from what I've understood but broke on Windows 11.The funny part is that the Creator mouse, which you connect to the keyboard dongle so you use just one port on your system, is showing up in the HPAC app.If programmable keys is really a must for you, don't buy this or check if they have fixed the issue before buying.Apart from that, the keyboard is really great and provides a lot of functionality for an average user. But a shame that HP doesn't pay attention to their so called "premium" accessories. No wonder why people might go for costly but reliable options like Logitech MX series.

The HP 970 Creator Keyboard is a gem! Going wireless and connecting to multiple devices makes work a breeze. Its 20 customizable shortcut keys are a productivity boost, especially with the backlit keys and sensors for low-light settings. Lasting up to 6 months on a single charge, it's efficient. With AES encryption for security and a 3-year warranty, it's a reliable and stylish addition to any workspace. In sleek silver, it's the perfect fit for creative minds!

This HP keyboard is not only stylish but also really comfortable, especially with adjustable legs and shaped keys for accurate typing. It's perfect for both left and right-handed users. You can work smarter with over 20 customizable keys, and the mouse settings are easy to tweak for smooth navigation. The Multi-Surface Sensor is impressive – it ensures the mouse works well even on tricky surfaces like marble, and it saves power for a longer battery life. Overall, it's a great choice for a stylish, comfy, and efficient computing experience.

I got a faulty keyboard, I use more than 10 hours a day. It doesnt even stay 6 days on full charge. A sudden shut off while working even when theres 80% charge. Sometimes the backlit goes off. While working. I really need those cos i work at night. The keys - it doesnt feel feathery clickety like macbooks, feels a bit rubberish.

Nothing special about the keyboard and has price only but as compared to other premium range keyboard it's not even in the comparison range due to no pros and features.

The HP 970 Creator Keyboard is fantastic! Its wireless and multi-device capabilities make it super convenient. I adore the 20 customizable shortcut keys—they've seriously boosted my workflow. The backlit design with sensors is a nice touch, and with up to 6 months of battery life, it's impressively long-lasting. Highly recommend for a reliable and functional keyboard!
