Really great value for a caffeine shampoo, at a fraction of the price of more well known brands. The shampoo is quite thick and lathers up really well too. It doesn't smell of much, but this is not a bad thing. I've been using this for 6 weeks now and would recommend. Causes no itchiness and bottle size means it lasts ages - and you get 2. Hair is not particularly shiny from using it, but it is ideal as a daily shampoo.

This is actually a really good men’s shampoo, especially for the price. I’d personally describe it more as a clarifying shampoo than a fortifying one. It leaves hair feeling squeaky clean but not stripped, which is a tricky balance to get right. It lathers well, rinses out easily, and leaves hair feeling fresh and lightweight rather than coated or heavy. I’m not entirely convinced the active ingredients are doing much beyond marketing, but at this price point you can’t realistically compare it to premium or salon products. As a straightforward, effective shampoo, it performs very well. I’ve knocked a star off purely because of the scent. I can see what they’ve tried to do by linking it to the burdock and actives, but to me it smells very similar to a new car air freshener, which I don’t find particularly pleasant. The upside is that the scent doesn’t linger once rinsed, so it’s not something you’re stuck with. Overall, I’d definitely buy this again. Good bottle size, nice texture, clear formula with no colouring, and better ingredients than expected at this price point, with a solid blend of effective yet gentle surfactants and conditioners.

I was actually looking for a shampoo that doesn't contain dimethicone (or trimethicone) but to find one that is anti-dandruff as well is a bonus. And what a very modest price! The shampoo is clear and quite thick - so you don't need much when you apply it. It has a pleasant but neutral smell, so it won't clash with your other toiletries. Some reviewers mention that it thickens the hair and it does seem to but not by that much. It could be that the absence of dimethicone (which has the effect of flattening hair and adding some shine) makes your hair feel a bit fluffier. I would certainly recommend this shampoo for squeaky clean hair.

Theres nothing wrong with this shampoo, it smells like mens shampoo but not overpowering, that typical sporty smell. It's like a gel, cleans the hair, does exactly what it's supposed to but with a disclaimer: Obviously this won't reverse male pattern baldness, don't buy this expecting your hair to magically regrow, if you're losing your hair and you're unhappy don't put it off, speak to your GP, ask about finesteride and minoxidil to make sure you don't have any health issues that should restrict you from using them. Just know there is no shampoo that can fix male pattern baldness so don't waste a year and have your hopes set on quick / cheap fixes. The sooner you get proper treatment, the sooner you can stop worrying about it getting worse. Or just shave your head and own it. I'll keep buying this shampoo because theres nothing wrong with it, it's a great price for a caffeine shampoo and theres no reason not to use it as long as you have the right expectations.

So, don’t expect any miraculous results, especially for the price. One issue I did run into was mild itchiness after using it, i have a dry scalp, and after using this my scalp felt dry.

If you are looking for a no nonsense, pleasant shampoo for everyday use, then you really can't go too wrong with this product. There's plenty of it in each bottle, it comes out in a thickish clear gel and has a very mild, inoffensive fragrance, the kind of fragrance that doesn't overpower anything else you might have on. I found it lathered up enough for me, but I have particularly short cropped hair, so don't need so much anyway, if you have longer hair, you may like to use more each wash. It appears to do a reasonable job regarding dandruff, and doesn't make my scalp itch afterwards. I would say, at this price point, given you get 2 bottles, it represents a good but!
