Very good quality steel. Easy to assemble. The steel tap works well....no leakage. Don't know about the filtered water quality though. The tea made from normal tap water as well as the filtered water has a thin film on the surface, and is very black as compared to tea made from the water bought in 20 litre jars.

#First Order# After installing it properly following the provided instruction, I was quite happy for the first day. The bottom chamber was getting filled up quite fast, but with 4 candles installed I thought it was normal to be this fast initially. But filtered water felt foul somewhat, so investigated further and noticed that one of the 4 candles was simply passing water to the bottom chamber without any filtration it seems since water flowed through it quite fast like a waterfall(unlike "drop by drop" by the other candles). Removed that candle, installed it again, tightened the bolt and washer, exchanged its position with a nearby candle, but it was of no help and this candle kept doing the same. 2ndly, the provided lid of this 32 litre model is very loose and doesn't sit firmly on the top chamber. It just sits loosely as if it was made for a slightly bigger chamber. RAMA water purifier is quite expensive and costlier than all other gravity water purifiers available in the market, hence such issues should not occur in the first place for a brand new product. The seller(RAMA) should take strong note of the same. -------------------------- #Replacement Order# Since a candle was faulty, Amazon replaced the whole unit itself since there was no option to only replace the faulty candle on Amazon. With the replacement unit, all 4 candles are working as intended, the filtration is good, water taste is no more foul. The lid remains loose though, it's manufactured like this only and it doesn’t feel right to me. ---------------- #Few Notes# Based on my own research, If TDS value of supplied water is less than 200(generally municipality water), then RO water purifier is not required. In fact, RO water purifiers eliminate the essential minerals which are so important for our health. If TDS is more than 200(like borewell, tubewell, tanker etc. water) then RO water purifiers are recommended. With suppied water TDS value being 90 approx in my locality, this RAMA water purifier felt the right choice for me since I didn't want to go for electric ones. While scrolling through others' reviews, have noticed a fellow customer complaining about TDS value not being changed. Not sure if he received any faulty candle like my previous unit. The TDS value of tap water is 90 in my house and this RAMA purifier makes it 148(check my uploaded video) after filtration which is fine as it retains minerals I believe. Another fellow reviewer complained about the candles having only 6 months of warranty. One candle filters approx 3000 litres, so if we use 30 litres of water per day, it will be 5400 litres in 6 months. So with 2 candles installed(6000 litres), I think it's just fine to have 6 months of warranty for the candles. The other parts have 10-year warranty which is great. So in that 10 years if the filter gets rusted or suffers from any other issues, we get free replacement as per RAMA, right RAMA?

The filter is very good. I am writing this review so late because I wanted to test this filter in rainy season. And yes, I am really happy with this. It clears all the dirt from the water as well as reduce smell up to some extent. Satisfied... Installation is easy. No water leakage. Perfect for use in village areas. Good filtration speed. It's stainless steel, means no worries about rust.

Please buy if you want to get ill , because this doesn't filter at all more over a white layer of an anonymous thing forms over the stores water ,and yet nobody has talked about it in other reviews

Product quality is excellent.

My specific need was gravitational water purifier due to lack of space. Just bought it last week Good: 1) Nice looks 2) Got what was supposed to be delivered 3) Water is sparkling clean with good taste. Bad: 1) Price, little expensive 2) Stainless steel tap is delicate 3) It was claimed purifing rate of 3 ltrs/hour but I find it 1.75 ltrs/hour (may be because its new) 4) At any given point of time, no way to know how much water is in the bottom chamber, so its a guess work as to how much to pour in top chamber to avoid water overflow. Should provide water level window 5) Lid is loose 6) Poor installation instructions 7) Instead of making higher quantity purifiers taller, make them wider
